Well, as some may know, I drove the 50 miles from base this weekend to be able to see the factory one last time before it is no more...The next time I'll be within 50 miles is in December, after the shut down. As I had told a few people I would do, I poured out a little CHAMPAGNE for my homies at Buell. Not only did I pour out a little, Ian (gunut75) met up with me and we hung out and had a beer in the parking lot telling stories... I hope they aren't mad, and hope I didn't kill any grass!! LOL. I also left a card for Erik and one for the Elves in the mailbox. =) Me: Ian: Good times. Godspeed. (Message edited by brinnutz on October 18, 2009) |

Heck man, don't pour it out. Leave a few cases by the front door. The Elves could probably use it. |

I'm with Chad.. don't waste that stuff! I'd kill for a good full strength High Life right now. Getting REAL tired of this 3.2% Oklahoma crap. Any time family offers to bring something when they visit, my requests are beer and bottle rockets anyway.. Congrats on having the chance to stop by the factory at a time like this. I wish I could make it - the experience would provide a lifetime of memories I'm sure. 1000 miles is a loong trip and working hours are not exactly predictable for me at the moment. |

It was good to see ya Wilson. Ceremonial beers we had were Fat Tire. Those didn't get poured out. Those were enjoyed! I'll meet y'all up there on the 26th. I just may bring the car and the kid. |
