I have made my peace with the situation, I have thanked Erik here and in card form, I have thanked the Elves here and in card form, and i have let go of any anger i had because i know good things will come again! I'm gonna try to do this next part as straight forward and delicately as i can. Please realize i mean nothing negative if it comes out wrong. Whats with all the weird "last" and "final" talk? Why the last anything? Are you selling your bikes after you ride this weekend? Did they get stolen? Will you never ride with your riding groups again now that Buell is gone? Will we never meet for another homecoming? Erik Buell and Company "BUILT" you an amazing motorcycle, That came with incredible extra's I for one never expected to get out of a motorcycle!(Great people, and great friends....some employed by Buell and some not.) Instead of the last anything, Why not take your "FIRST". Your "FIRST" ride thru the Buell Motor Company's lot.....Knowing the people there are moving onto bigger and better things! Your "FIRST" ride with you riding group since the closure of buell....knowing that you all got "IT", and you all met because of it! I for one Plan on celebrating many Buell first in my Future! Talking About Buell to my youngest daughter (i've already infected the other 2) and god willing in the next few years Purchasing a new motorcycle From Erik Buell's new company, and making my '06 CityX my oldest daughter's "FIRST" street bike! Yep,soaked that in completely. My first ride should be tomorrow after it drys out from the rain. It will be from a different perspective..MORE PROUD and MORE PROTECTIVE.....and more JOY,knowing I'm among the few that "get it" with Buell...../ | ||

The main thing holding me back from buying a CR right now is the fact that you KNOW Erik is going to be introducing something better in every way sooner than we'd imagine. Instant gratification- or long-term satisfaction? What a dilemma... | ||

Yea, I have a feeling resistance is futile. I stopped by the local dealer today and they seem to be playing coy with the discounts. Dealer ~100 miles away is advertising them on their front page. Tomorrow may be a good day for a drive. | ||
