Some news, huh?- Seems like an opportune time for us Buellers to stand a little closer together, looking past past pettiness, etc. (Message edited by tramp on October 18, 2009) |

as much as i hated some of the bs that you posted i respect the fact that you did get people thinking differently and for this you do have my utmost respect and yes, at a time like this, it is necessary to put past pettiness aside and figure out what we can do to if nothing else, keep the bike alive if in name only. hopefully this is not the end and something else will come out of this. it'll be good to get another insight into this mess so welcome back. oh yea, +100 on B.F.F.B. I'm afraid I won't be able to make the headless Horseman Run, as I'll be on my way to East Troy. I HAVE to be there for the 26th. |

Crusty, we'll miss you. Personally, the run to the factory feels too much like a funeral march. I am going to celebrate here in the Hudson Valley, and keep faith in the rebirth of a great motorcycle and motorcycle company. |

Yeah, I've noticed that any bickering has come to a dead stop. Funny how tragedy brings out the best in people. ~SM |

Tramp! Extremely cool to see you back! Actually, I was out sick last Friday, and watched "Gangs of New York" and it reminded me of a Martin Scoresese thread a long time ago in which we shared some comments. Missed your contributions here. ChelleM and I would love to do the Headless Horseman Run, but logistically it's tough. Hopefully we can make it work. B*F*F*B Chris |

Just thought of something. There already is likely those 4 letters in use by one of the well known clubs. I'd be careful about using that. In fact I'd advise against it. You don't want to end up in the middle of any bad s**t. |

Perhaps, but Buellers aren't known to be the violent type. I'm sure in a conflict many could engineer restraints of all kinds, both legal and physical. LOL I knew last night that abbreviation was copied from what clubs do but not till this morning did i think of the club that likely uses that already. I'm sure a better rallying cry can be conceived. |

Maybe use the date. "Remember the 15th!" or something along those lines. Or, Remember East Troy! |

Tramp is the one who started the BFFB thread. It's structurally similar to many letter groupings already in use by certain groups of people, but I can't think of anyone who uses that one EXACTLY. Why - you guys heading off to some biker bars? How about Beware the Ides of October? |

Yep- I can also name several smaller clubs who use BFFB...this goes for just about any letter in the alphabet. If your BFFB is not red & gold, I seriously doubt anyone will get too worked up over it. |

BFFB Good show. "If your BFFB is not red & gold, I seriously doubt anyone will get too worked up over it." Then lets just decide here and now that we'll use black with blue letters. (Message edited by m1combat on October 20, 2009) |
