Oh, the irony. I got rid of my aging Honda because I was concerned about parts availability... So when will this seven years of guaranteed slash mandated parts and service start? From now? From the end of production dates of our particular models? From...? Ruthless Accounting. It just don't have the same ring to it... |

You can still get parts for bikes that went out of business before my dad was born, I think Buell will be fine. |

My buddy tells me that the Vincent Owners Club started a spares company in 1977 and they built a complete Black Shadow a couple years ago from available parts. That factory was shut down in 1955. |

There is no law nor "legal" time period. Buells were built from fairly common parts. I still have two Buell and never expect to have any problem in my lifetime getting parts. |

The guys that bought the Gilroy built Indians will tell you a different story. I have to listen to them whine about it all the time. Buell is a different situation though. |

Just need to hear it... I fully intend to buy more bikes in my lifetime, but I also intend to never get rid of my 'bolt. |

>>>The guys that bought the Gilroy built Indians will tell you a different story. The Gilroy built Indians were done on a shoe string and never had one of the world's largest and most sophisticated parts distribution networks behind them. The entire Indian parts costs . . from the day they opened wouldn't but the insulation in the Franklin Distribution Center. |
