Here are some of my personal favorites - Buell 25th Erik Buell and the Thunderbolts play vs. HD 100th where Elton John headlines the show and admits during the concert he doesn't know why he is there. - Buell published the online "Book of Buell" vs. in the year 2009, HD customer service still cannot recieve an email. - Buell designs like the underslung exhaust are copied by all major sportbikes vs. HD sho "develops" new products like Taco Bell: use the same 8 ingredients and put them in a different wrapper. However, no matter how you wrap a piece of crap, it is still a piece of crap - Erik Buell has led the way with technical designs while HD's latest improvement to the bagger was a larger frame to hold the fat people who ride them. - Newest Buell model the 1125cr vs. newest HD model - the lardman UltraGlide Trike with a starting price only $2,500 more then that of a full size E series Ford Van. I heard it comes with a bucket of fried chicken! Yeah, I can see how that connects with people under 35??? |

When my Dad and I ride and stop somewhere I always get a kick out of how many people stop and look over my bike while they just keep walking by his Sporty. |

Top Reasons why Buell will always be cooler then HD Because you can talk to Erik and shake his hand. He is a down-to-earth, nice person who is always willing to talk to Buellers about their motorcycles. He shows genuine interest in how people have personalized their bikes. The list could go on and on! |

Because Buell riders go out riding and kick up the pace while the posers are cruzin the main drag so they can admire themselves in the reflections of store front windows. |

if a Buell rider rode a Harley it would bring a whole new meaning to the term "drag pipes" |

#1 Reason - Erik Buell I saw him at Road America this summer, went up to him, shook his hand and said Good Luck. He said thanks, and thanks for coming out to support Buell. He is the main reason I like Buells, he is genuine and a true sportbike enthusiast. I looked up enthusiast, fits him perfectly: a person filled with enthusiasm: a: one who is ardently attached to a cause, object, or pursuit (a sports car enthusiast) b: one who tends to become ardently absorbed in an interest |

Before I bought the M2 myself & 2 friends went to the dealers & asked to borrow their demo S1W. As there were 3 of us they lent us the Buell & a Road King, complete with bags, footboards, screen, lights, & positively acres of chrome. We got a severe bollocking when we got back, as apparently they heard me bouncing the RK off the limiter, trying to keep up with the S1. I played the dumb Englishman for all it was worth & we got away with it. But you can make a bagger go well if you have the nuts for it. |
