Back in 1996 I went to my first AHDRA race in Woodburn, OR. This was also the first time I caught a glimpse of a Buell. It was actually two Buell's. One was out doin the 1/4 mile while the other was being ridden by some yahoo going by the name Ferris Bueller, who was there snapping pixs for Thunder Press. One month later I was a proud owner of a 1996 S1 Lighting and made a new friend (who is now a life long friend). Little did I know that I would make many more friends because of Buell Motorcycle's. As the years have gone by, the most dominate motorcycle out on the track at any given AHDRA race is a Buell Motorcycle, not Harley Davidson. I find this very interesting since Harley has basically called Buell a dead product line. I have managed to capture many great shots of Buell's tearing up the 1/4 mile over the last several years, these are some of my fav's. I've also solely on my own, decided to change the name to All Buell Drag Racing Association! Erik, I don't have much to offer other then a thank you for all of your hard work. I'll be looking forward to that twisty down the road when I cross paths with the latest and greatest from you. -Jim Corso All Buell Drag Racing Association Pixs |
