Imagine a company with engines at the ready that is looking for some market share and may want race-proven, marketable motorcycle think to power it. There are no patents on "low unsprung weight" or mass centralization or under engine mufflers or radical steering geometry. With a variety of Rotax engines available and a willingness to take risks (Can-Am Spyder, anyone), maybe BRP and Erik can produce the Can-Am Badger (XB9r cohort), Can-Am Cougar (1125r-like) and, for the singles amongst us, The Can-Am Paintshaker. Where there's talent and a market, there's a way. God Bless Capitalism, or at least what remains of it. |
