This sickens me. I know in this economy, things like this are happening all over the country. But I feel as if I've lost a family member. To everyone at BMC, good luck and I wish you all the best.

I will stop at the factory before the potential closing of the doors.

I'm gonna miss this!

My heart breaks for this loss.
We're a family and we will continue to support you.
Buell Motorcycles will never die as long as there are riders out their leaning hard in the corners with the song of a Buell quickening their pulse.
Thank you so much for everything you've done.

Best bike and best company I have had pleasure doing business with. I had the most fun with my Buell than any other bike I ever owned.

Just seeing Erik's video message this morning brought a tear to my eye. I'm sure all Buell employees are feeling the same shocking sense of loss.

My best wishes to all employees, and to the future of the Buell brand - free from HD!

Whatever happens, we will follow Erik and Co to the end. Hope it's not the end, but like PKforbes said, good riddance to Harley Davidson and their red-headed stepchild treatment of the only affordable American sportbike out there. Ya'll can have your fringe leather and chrome polishing kits, we'll stick with Buell. I'll be damned before I ride anything else, even that sweet looking Aprilia RSV. Buell will be back eventually.....ya can't keep Erik down he's like a ninja. A wisconsin ninja.

I posted something up for Erik when he was sick in the hospital, hope he reads it. Never owned something I looked forward to using, even in the worst D.C. metro traffic in the world (Rockville Pike!!), but as long as its on the 03 XB9R Firebolt, couldn't care less about taking an hour to drive 15 miles. Will defintley need that Buell tattoo now. Thanks for everything Erik and crew, and we'll follow you no matter where ya go, even if ya make inline 4s!
Buell riders, we fear no corner and no inline 4.

PS- Mr. Buell, I've put over $4k into this bike after buying it for $4500, wouldn't change a damn thing about that either!

Best bikes I've owned. Erik- we believed in you all along, and we still do! I can't wait to own another bike with you name on it and engineering in it.

My heart is sad for you loss, and especially for the loss of all of the employees.

Thanks for the bikes and memories, but most of all the people and memories. You built world class motorcycles, but more than that, you brought all of us together. That will go on forever.

With every challenge, there is an opportunity; my best wishes for everyone within Buell to find happiness with whatever lies down the road.

Best Roads Always!!!

This sucks big time, but it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt Harley has no CLUE how to market to young sport bike enthusiasts. One misstep after another. I can't believe they'd be so STUPID as to completely dissolve Buell, though, and not look for a buyer.

To Erik and the Buell Company,
I'm glad I've met you on numerous occasions.
I am proud to race a Buell and to own Buell street bikes. Hell, my wife, which I never thought would ride is on her second Buell.
I'm glad to call some Buell employees friends.
No shame in something you have no control over.
Keep your heads held high, and look for new opportunities. I have a feeling you guys will come out on top.

My thoughts go out to the employees of BMC. I hope good things come your way. Thanks for making the best bikes ever made to date.

A "World Class Motorcycle" to be sure.

It has become apparent to me that Buell can stand on its own. BMC is more than a motorcycle company, it is people with a passion.

I have been honored to meet Erik Buell, Kim Torik, many Buell owners, engineers and other employees of Buell, past and present. In the people of Buell I see not only love for their product but love for anything on two wheels. There are not many things that can crush that kind of passion in a person or company.

Thanks Buell Motor Company and Buell Motorcycle Company. The future is wide open.

To Erik Buell and Family, The Elves and the Employees of Buell Motor Company East Troy, You have my Greatest Sympathy and Condolences for the decision H-D made too stop production of Buell Motorcycles. I hope this not the end of Buell Motor Company but a beginning of a New Chapter for the Great American Sport Bike.

To Erik & the Elves,

Thank you for making bikes that are just plain fun to ride & own. Thank you for not listening to the naysayers who said, “It can’t be done like that.” Thank you for your honesty, integrity & sense of family you have instilled with not only your products, but the values you live & display at every opportunity.

I’m saddened by today’s news, yet hopeful as well that the final chapter has not been written in regards to Buell & motorcycles. I wish all of you the best of luck in your future endeavors, whatever they may be.

-Phil

No one will be at the factory when I stop by this weekend.

I'll be up that way because of my drill weekend and will make the extra 1 hour trip north to the Factory for a bikeless pic anyways.

My M2 will never be sold.

Thank you all for the fun. I am the proud owner of a 2005 CityX.
I have about 17,000 trouble free miles on it, and everyone of those miles has a smile attached to it.

I wish you all the very best, and hope that wherever this journey takes you, you will be just where you belong.

Take care, and God bless.
