Anyone interested? I saw someone posted about going on Monday already, but I think it sure would be nice to get a large group together and "pay our respects" sometime before Dec 18th. I haven't been there since 2003 when we did a grassroots 20th cellebration. What a great day, Erik took us for a ride to his old house and barn where the first Buells were built. Looking at the pictures in the Buell book from Court reminded me of that trip and how cool it was to be there with the creator of my bike. Anyway, hopefully we can getsomething put together. I am not looking to organize it (there are others here much better at that kinda stuff), but I am deffinately interested in going. |

If I'm not working, (and I'm probably not) Monday is a sure bet for me. |

Further details could be made for a Buell Dinner October 25th! (For those of us hoping to be at the factory the 26th.) |

I was kinda hoping for a Friday like the 30th, unfortuantely I can't make the 26th, but go with whatever date you can get the most people. |

I think (due to the lack of timing), we're not going to get one huge group. A few medium groups would be more reasonable. All I know is, I can get out of work Monday the 26th, so I'm going to take my two days off in a row (Sunday and Monday) and make the 1000 mile loop. |

I like the 26th and will shoot for that. I'll be doing this heavily on the cheap, think we can rollout sleeping bags in the parking lot at the Factory? Z |

1500 miles, friggin cold and wet, potential snow and ice, economically jammed.....I will see if I can make it. Since they are closed, some one should inform them that people would be coming. It doesn't seem like it would be as much fun sitting outside the gate with no one there. We would also need permission for a campfire and some old pallets to burn. |

They are not closed yet. They close in December. But even so, we are working on informing them. And Zac4mac, I'm trying to be cheap as well. Let me know if you find any good info! (Message edited by Mikef5000 on October 15, 2009) |

Maybe instead of a ride to the Buell Factory maybe a ride needs to be planned to HD corporate to show how pissed off we all are. |

Can't say this would be an epic journey for me, seeing as though I am only and hour away, but I would be happy to hop on my trusty mistress and join the troops! If we can agree upon a date and time, I will do what I can to be there. Good luck to us all, especially Eric and the entire Buell family and family of Elves. Tony |

Might be a nice ride up to Milwaukee... Visit with the Elves in the morning, ride to Corporate for Lunch... Depending on weather, I'll expect to leave Friday or Saturday so I can arrive Sunday night. Seems like it was about 1150 miles one-way from here. Maybe I'll shoot for an Iron-butt, I turn 55 next month. Wheels are turning. Z |

My boss is cool with me taking some time off. My wife actually started the idea in my head. Loretta just dynoed 127+ HP and 72 ft-lbs torque and is ready for a road trip. Looking forward to seeing some of the folks I met last year at Homecoming. Z |
