Getting together at the dealership sounds good to me.... I think a A.M. ride to factory would be good for the people coming from a long way away. I will need to be back to work in C-bus Tuesday. It is going to be a hard ride there and back.. man this sucks |

Nobody will care if you ride, drive a car, or walk. |

What time does the factory come up and running Monday morning. And what time does Hals open up? |

And DAMN is it hard to keep things straight. We've got this ride info going on in 4 threads now. Do we just need to create one OCT. 26th RIDE thread? |

Hals opens at 10:00AM. I'll call and find out WHEN the factory opens. Depending on the weather, I'll lead a fun ride, or a boring ride out there from Hals. |

Hey Steve, why don't we rent the Buell Race hauler, pull up to the parking lot and have 200 people bust out of it!! LOL I don't know.. I'm drinking my blues away right now! |

We did it for the 20th anniversary back in 2003. Just ask Spidey, BadS1, and lots of others still here. We had posters and everything! It was awesome. It could be done again. |

Won't be able to do this trip for the 26th. I have company coming for a week or so, bringing their bikes. I am their escort for a few days in the Smokies. |

Still waiting for a start/meeting time on the 26th. Char, you want to meet someplace on the east side? Or have you winterized the bike already!! Steve Mackay's rides are always fun!! |

Thanks Michael. I'll try and contact some people I know at the factory, just to warn 'em that they may have an impromptu "homecoming in October" celebration coming their way! I'm going to start a new thread in the Quickboard. Labeled OCTOBER 26th, Homecoming in October celebration to try and help keep the 2-3 thread consolidated in to one, so it's easier to plan. I'll also see what Hals can do for some food, or what not. Kirk has offered support for this, and for a real "homecoming" this summer. Which, IMHO, we should try and do one that DOES NOT coincide with a racing schedule. Guys like Rocco deserve to be a part of what might be the largest, and best homecoming yet |

Thanks for thinking of me Steve!! It would be nice to join in! I still plan to ride out there this Monday as well, if anyone care to join in. |

Rocco, well damn, you whined enough about not making the last two! But yeah, if you're riding to the factory THIS Monday(the 19th), PM me, I may join ya if I can get off of work. Even though I had 1 NEW Buell mold, and 2 Buell engineering changes unexpectedly whisked off my schedule this morning, I'm still swamped with work. And is it wrong for me to feel dirty about stopping work on the Buell job this morning, and starting a new Harley job? It just felt wrong! |
