Copied from http://richiemorrisracing.com/ 14 October 2009 - RMR is pleased to announce the signing of Danny Eslick for the 2010 season. Eslick will defend his number one plate in the Daytona Sportbike series and could also see action in the American Superbike series as well. Thanks to Richie for the heads up on this thread-- http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/158 664/503449.html?1255554097 |

That's really cool news. I heard he rode this year for next to nothing. He deserves a payday. |

That is the best news!!!!!! The thrill of watching RMR and Danny from Daytona through New Jersey was a feeling I will LOVE to have again next season, I knew the season was going to be something special when Danny attempted to fix the loose claw at Daytona, my first thought was... we might just have a winner here! We did! That young man is such a good ambassador of sportsmanship, graciousness and Buell it would have been horrible to see him on anything but our beloved line... Way to go Richie, Rossmeyer and Buell!!! GO BUELL RACING ! |

If I were RMR racing staff, I'd make it a policy to personally kick the ass of any HD executive leadership that dared show up at the race. |

I could be wrong, but I am sure someone on here knows... I think they have to race production motorcycles in his class. That was the big issue with them riding the new "production" race bike released this summer. If HD has stopped production of the 1125r, then they would not have a bike. On another note, I do believe that Buell started production of the 2010 model year just before plant close. They may have bought themselves one season grace period to get the new Buell American Motorcycle company up and running for the 2011 season. Not sure, but it sounds like a good theory. |

From the FAQ on the Buell site regarding the closing. "What about Buell racing and privateer Buell race teams? Will there be contingency programs like they have had in the past? Buell will continue to supply parts to dealers to support racers who want to go racing next season. However, the racing support program and contingency will be discontinued." |

So after DMG bent over backwards (and bent the rules) to pull Buell into the new AMA Pro Racing series, Harley just yanked the rug out from under them. So what'll DMG do now? Homologate a Screaming Eagle CVO Fatboy for Daytona Sportbike??? |

The real question Jaime is will the AMA make them wear helmets? |

The official riding gear will be assless chaps with fringe and chrome conchos. |
