I have searched and can not seem to find the thread about using napoleon bar end mirrors with the Bell hand guards. It is getting cold out and i just zipped tied the ends of the guards to the base of the mirrors for now. any one have a link or info on how other have done it? |

I did it with some Southern engineering. Here's a pic of the ingredients used. I cut down the screws so they would be long enough to go all the way through the squish pieces. Cut down the connecting cap nuts to leave a little more than the thickness of the hand guard. Then I lock tighted the screws into the cap nuts and dipped them in coating. I used them in place of the Napoleans supplied mounting screws. The washers go inside on the far end of the rubber squish pieces. They have been in place for almost two years now. They have a little more vibration that they should but I think that's just due to the fact I don't have the springs tight. I need to rotate them every day for garage parking. and a couple of pics of the results. (Message edited by marksm on October 14, 2009) (Message edited by marksm on October 14, 2009) |
