I have the same issue. I gave up. My profile now shows my girlfriend's bike, in colors it no longer sports : p

Ok, I just got mine to change. I first told it to delete the picture associated with my profile, then uploaded a new one. That worked for me, try it!

Just delete you current pic. Then load up the next one. It doesn't like to over-write.
