There are a few HD shops that are "Authorized Genuine Dealers" speaking of vespas, one bike in the genuine range is a remake of a 1965 Vespa PX 150 known as the "Genuine Stella" steel body, 2-smoke, 4 speed, twist shift w/ a spare.

Cant be any worse than the HD dealer in NJ being a Aprillia dealer too. |

I hope you are going to insist your friend dresses properly on her new ride. "Scooter" does not mean "safe", and "skin graft" cannot be considered a "beauty mark". A good friend makes sure the newbie takes riding seriously. |

Parkway H-D (Swannanoa, NC) sells those scooters but won't sell Buell. They suck anyway, so maybe it's good that they don't carry Buell. |

Auburn Harley Davidson/Buell used to sell Chinese made scooters until they went out of business. |

1965 Vespa PX 150 You're about a decade off. The P/PX series didn't start until 78. |

"You should post more pictures of your friend!" I thought someone would post this long ago! I was getting worried I would have to say this myself. Thank you Gary for injecting some sanity to this thread! |

House of Harley in milwaukee is a distributor of Genuine Motor Scooters. http://www.houseofgenuinescooters.com/ FOR THOSE WHO ARE MORE INTO LATTES THAN LEATHERS. great ad. I like it! |

Simi Valley H-D is now selling Husqvarna dirt bikes. I thought it was pretty cool except all the shelf space that was used for Buell accesories is now selling dirt bike gear. Buell clothing is now relegated to a small rack and accessories are nowhere to be seen. I'm sure you can still get stuff, but I liked it when I wanted the tailbag for my 1125R and it was actually on display! They were also one of the four Benelli dealers in CA too, but it looks like they dropped the brand? I don't know. I actually sat on one of the dirt bikes and got "the wants" a little, but that was before I test rode Triumphs down in L. A. THAT is a topic for another time . . . |

One of the local-ish dealers here in Illinois also sells scooters. They are up front, even in the window. Buells are in the back, and of course they have no (as in nothing) Buell trinkets on display. After three years of owning my XB9R you'd think I'd be used to it. Still amazes me. |

Holy crap Barker. That "friend" of yours looks like a fine specimen of the female form. Forget the scooter. Give us more pictures of her! |

I know of 1 HD dealer that sells Chinese scooters with the brand Schwinn on them. They are good with the Buell support though and also are/were an MV dealer. Haven't seen one there in 2 years. |

The chinese product has a much better markup than most other products, but the problem for distributors is and always has been parts and service...there isn't any. The manufacturers don't supply parts for replacement, and the service manuals are in mandarin or some other obscure dialect. |

I have a friend here who has a stripped down racing Vespa, full race motor, expansion chamber exhaust, the lot. I've seen him embarrass guys on much larger bikes with it. It's as funny as all hell. |
