Many of you noticed and asked about the luggage Tom Bumpus had on his bike at Buelltoberfest. His luggage was the new Cortech luggage. Really nice stuff. Bumpus is now a Cortech distributor. Tom was using the tail bag, saddle bags, and tank bag.
The tail bag is nice and roomy, fully lined, and expandable:
The tail bag also has base padding to keep scuffs to a minimum as well as integrated bungee cords and non-scuff hooks:
The saddle bags are also expandable and large:
The saddle bags have a nice padded suspension system that reduces scuffs.
The tank bag is designed for our plastic "tanks" and uses a neck yoke:
Additionally, Cortech makes a really neat back pack:
It's great for work or weekend use when you need something more than a tank bag or you need to be able to take your stuff with you. The bottom pocket rolls out into a really cool helmet carrier:
There's even a keeper to help prevent those "where is that dang Camelback drink tube" moments:
We have several in stock and can get any of the Cortech luggage that they make.
Tank Bag $69 Saddle Bags $129 Tail Bag $79 Backpack $69 We are offering free shipping on all our Cortech luggage!!! PM me or give me a call if you'd like us to ship you a set! Jeremy 615-708-8835 |

I've been using the tailbag, and saddlebags on my bikes for years now. I've had no problems adapting them to my S2, S1, and XB9SX. I'm sure they will fit all models no problem, they are VERY versatile! Congrats to Bumpus, and Jeremy, you guys ROCK! |

i had the same tank bag on my Ss.. Very nice bag but the thing i didn't like was, that you can see in your pic, is that it blocks the hole on the air box. I took some tin snips and cut the foam thing under the bag but it still wasn't enough. |

i picked up those same saddle bags from thumper a couple of years ago and have them on the blast for the wife. they've held up pretty good. i use a cortech tank bag on the m2. it originally came with two bags but could only use the one cause the second one made it to high and i couldn't see over the top. |

Capacities: Tail Bag: 16L (18L Expanded) Saddle Bags: 17L per side Super Mini Tank Bag: 6.5L 10L Tank Bag (Not Shown): 10L 14L Tank Bag (Not Shown): 14L All bags come with water proof covers. The saddle bags, as can been seen in the picture below, have a velcro suspension system that can be lengthened or shortened based upon the width of the tail. There should be no problem adjusting them for various widths. If business allows, I will try to put the saddle bags on various models so that you guys can see what they look like. These bags also have a rigid ring that runs along the bottom and outside of the bag. This allows them to keep their shape and not sag. I'll also try to show the tank bag in a little greater detail. Unfortunately, the tank bag had a stainless steel "coffee mug" in it when I took the pictures. Thank you guys for the interest, and we'd love to help you put together a set of luggage. Having seen it in person, it is great quality. I think you will be very pleased with it. |

I have the tail bag on my X1 and it's the best thing I have put on there. Lets you actually carry a lunch etc. into work. Makes errands possible and gives you an excuse to ride the X1 |

Oldog, Here are the details on the Tank Bag.
The top features a removable map pocket. Not only does it snap down, but it also has a velcro strip.
The inside of the top zipper flap features a key holder (for extra keys to luggage or the bike) a pen holder, and a holder for an air pressure gauge.
The main bag body is padded and lined.
There is an additional zippered pocket in the front of the bag for glasses, ear plugs, etc.
In addition to the mounting yoke, the bag also comes with a waterproof rain fly.
Bag with rainfly installed.
I didn't get a picture of it, but there is an extension on the padded base that allows you to accommodate a longer tank or remove the extension to slide the bag further toward the rear of the bike. The advantage here is that you can move the tank bag away from the filler neck to make gas stops easier. You wouldn't need to remove the bag if you didn't want to. Me, I'm anal retentive and don't want go-go juice on my junk, so I remove my bag anyway. The 10L and 14L bags are basically the same just with larger capacity. |
