for one, it doesn't matter what you ride, just as long as you ride. second, it's like anything that you get. it could last or take a crap depending on how you take care of it and whether it was built on a monday morning or wednesday morning. i'm happy with what i have and that's what counts. |

Nevrenuf is spot on. You have defined your needs (big passenger area and arm rest) and if those were my needs it would be a EGlide or Goldwing. Your S3 has about the same comfort level for a passenger as a Uly, if not more if it has a back rest. I put a lot of miles on my EGlide. Never had a problem. It was totally stock. The GF has ridden as a passenger on my EGlide and Uly. She prefers the EGlide for comfort and the Uly for fun. Goldwings can be picked up cheap but I would hate to work on one. That is just my preference. |

You're right Neil ! I'm sure whatever I end up getting I will be happy with it as it will do what I need. Frank I think the E-Glide will probably be my first choice if the price is right. I think I'm addicted to Harley V-Twin engines! I've had parallel twins and I-Fours before, but my S3T engine is the most fun so far. |

right now gary, we have 5 bikes between the wife and i and we have no desire to get rid of any of them and if things pick up to afford more, we will get at least a new scg for the wife and i would like to get a cr. i was asked by the secretary at work the other day which one i like best, the buells or the harley. i told her it depends which road i'm on. i've had liter bikes and they don't do for me like they do for others. if nothing else, try em out before you buy one. plus it's a buyers mart right now so don't overlook hopping on a plane to pick something up out of town. just my .03 cents worth. |

I don't have anything against Harleys, I'm just not really knowledgeable about how many miles you can reliably get out of them. LOTS!!! very reliable motorcycles, but then again they are ridden different that a sport bike. |

Well, money is still an object but I (the wife) has decided that we need a BMW K1200 LT to go along with the S3T. I am actively searching for the right bike for the right price. I know Jaimec has one. Anyone else? And yes I know that a lot of people say LT stands for Light Truck! |
