Can't wait till Sunday for the club ride...wow...a ride where you don't have sweat in your eyes...wooo hooo!! (Message edited by fast1075 on September 29, 2009) |

41*F here now, was 45 yesterday and I was wearing mesh... brrrrr. I did turn on the heated grips, today I'll dress warmer. We are due a soft freeze in a couple of days. Leaves are turning, hills got dusted a couple of days ago. Time to dig out leather and turtlenecks. Z |

on the ride out to mulberry this morning, i definitely noticed a little coolness in the air and the m2 noticed it too. always runs better in the lower temps. and when we get a cold front, that means that maybe we'll be in the 80's if we're lucky. |

I've been wearing the heated jacket for weeks already. |

I don't belong in Central California. I start sweating at the thought of being in the sun. I don't know what my folks were thinking moving to Fresno. On the bright side, 80 degree high predicted today. Is summer finally over?!?!? |

hey! I love summer, but I must admit in these days my XB seems happier (me too actually). but I do love summer. i could barely recognize it as I have not riding for a couple of weeks after a minor low side. |

my 2006 XB12X factory installed comfort kit doesn't blow enough warm air on my left thigh to keep me warm on these cold fall mornings or late evenings! |

perfect day to ride today: just the right temp. for a t-shirt under my leather jacket, vents closed. |

legs were chilly this morning but i use the rain jacket as a wind breaker so at least the top half was good. might have to use the assless chaps in the morning. hey fast, i used to go on those rides but as of late i've been working on the house and this week, my daughter and grandaughter are down from wisconsin so this weekend is definitely a no show. even had to turn down my buddy for webster this sunday. right now it's a 46 miles round trip ride to work so i'm just enjoying that riding for right now. i want to eventually move up to the chattanooga area so hence the work on the house. maybe next month. |
