i'm sorry to say that after our daughter left that store their buell attitude has went down hill. nothing as far as apparel goes, don't know about the parts stock. wouldn't expect much as far as that goes. it's pretty much if you want to buy one fine if not we have all these chromed out harleys over here. gonna have to ask them about their facts getting straitened out. although their head tech if he's still there is a buell tech and pretty good so at least they have that going for them if nothing else. | ||

I don't even know what to say about that. Not a bad idea, though, placing a video on the website to describe new models. I may have to check with Tom about adding something like that to our website. Minus the hat, glasses, skull mask, and stupid cowboy routine. | ||

I went there a few weeks ago to look around...the sales people I talked to knew absolutely nothing about the Buells. One guy told me that I couldn't ride one because I was too short and tried to steer me over to the "chrome corral" to check out the newest "low" something or other. Another wanted to show me a Blast...at that point, I pointed out my Blast in the parking lot. I finally got my Lightning...but not there. | ||

TRYING to impress potential Buell customers with a H-D mindset will only give the Japanese bikes a bigger sales boost. Oh well - maybe they could chopper-ize a CR and throw in buttless chaps and bar-end tassels. | ||

 +1 fatty I would also like to see: Proper oil level check, tire pressure, suspension set-up etc vids from a dealer. That type of of online presence might be beneficial for both sides. I know somebody thats good @ making vidja if you need help. (Message edited by barker on September 27, 2009) | ||

I thought a good idea would be to use a video media to post on our website to provide a technical rollout of new models. Do you really think that this is what they did? The "good idea" was the use of video as a new medium. I have NO desire to replicate what they did. That was my point. The feedback I left was accurate and will hopefully prompt them to improve upon their first effort. | ||

I think the way Ft_bstrd sees it as, a good idea, but really poor execution, and he can improve upon it. I thought the video was horrible too, and with a little creative effort, and Barker's video camera magic, they can produce a sweet commercial. |
