It was a really nice night down there. Alot of Buell people, alot of HD people. HD gave Buell alot of credit and props all night long. Richie Morris gave the Museum one of Danny Eslick's bikes, EB's band played, the Brew City Thunderbikes were down, Flick gave a small speech. Very nicely done. It was great seeing and hearing HD give Buell credit. The only real critisism I had was the announcer guy saying, "Buell brings a championship to Milwaukee" over and over again. Not one mention of Buell being in East Troy. That's piddly though. The HD faithful were very receptive of Buell, alot of leather vesters taking pics with the Buell bikes. Great night really and a super end of the season of Bike Night at the Museum.

I wish I could have taken more for you guys, but I ran out of batteries. I know Steve Mackay will have a ton when he gets back from vacation. There's one thing I take for granted by living here, its that Buell and HD are in my backyard. Events like this smack some awarness back into me. |

Very cool, thanks for posting the pics. Wish I could have been there. I find it interesting that the Uly safety bikes have sidestands....for some reason I always thought that was a 'no-no' for a track bike. |

John, I was there also and also thought it was a great event! I got there at 4:15 and didn't take the tour of the museum because I want to spend more time that that would have allowed. Erik's band sounded great and getting better every time I hear them too. I thought Buell was well represented and the Harley crowd was getting into the race bikes especially when Ricky Morris started up Danny's #9 race bike. That sounded really great and I couldn't believe the flame that came out of that pipe while they were demoing it for the crowd. Fun time and I stayed to the end. I'll certainly go back next year. One question though to anyone who was there. Since it was my first HD Museum bike night, how did that crowd compare to the other nights there had this year? |

There's was twice as many bikes there last night than the bike night I attended in late July. There's was more bikes last night than Buell Homecoming night as well. |

Tim! That is a nice photo of your ass! Thanks for pointing that out! LOL. Best thing was Steve's parking trick where he took up the entire parking area instead of letting us get parked in by baggers. Too funny! Oh and the squeek behind the semi truck on the off ramp. That was classic also. Was a nice night to ride back to Madison so I just went for it... |

Great time, fun to she some old friends and get to congratulate them on a job well done. I can't wait to see how Erik's superbike team does next year, Those two riders he has are very, very good. I talked with Flick for a bit and told him I saw world superbikes in 5 years. He laughed and essentially told me I was nuts I'm sticking to my number though. Dave |

"I find it interesting that the Uly safety bikes have sidestands....for some reason I always thought that was a 'no-no' for a track bike." It is, but only for the bikes that actually compete in a race. |

>>>If ONLY they would market one with the FULL fairings and the graphics.... Wait till the Trademark Enforcement group gets wind of that. . . . it'll probably go over like my Arai Corsair V "Eslick" and "Ruthless Engineering" helmets.

I was there on Wednesday. I decided to make my way home after taking in the museum. I guess I should have popped for another night in a stinky hotel, eh? |
