So, let me guess. My post about one of my local dealers offering 1125's at really low prices was due to someone thinking it was advertising for a non sponsor dealer.
If this was the case, what about an email to the OP.
Sheesh!
I was actually questioning the price and curious if it was a real deal or promotion.

Slaughter, Good point, I didn't even think about asking for permission. It still doesn't change the fact an admin could have sent a pm notifying me of the delete.

Nothing is moved in a vacuum... Individual moderators can take unilateral actions based on the time and grief margin they have, they are always reviewed by a community of moderators.
The non sponsor advertising rule is a fussy one to write a perfect statement of law around.
Absent clear ways to enforce some sort of mathematically crisp standard (like profanity or pornography), it's a "community thing". So it's enforced with a "if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, we will treat it like a duck" standard.
The post(not necessarily the poster or the posters intent) quacked like a duck.
(and a price without setup / delivery / closing costs, or a dealer that won't be supporting you or the brand, is about as meaningful as me saying I'll sell you my XB9SX for 80% off of my undisclosed previous asking price )

I did find some *really* good cigars on the "unbranded generic" shelf of my local cigar shop...
Thanks for reminding me... I need to go over and pick up a big pile of them before somebody else figures out those $3 cigars taste more like a $10 cigar, just minus the label.
