In Haldeman's "Forever War" about an interstellar war fought with the handicap of time dilation, the soldiers keep coming home to a new Earth, where customs have changed. At some point in the future, to curb overpopulation, Homosex is mandatory, and hetro's are the perverts. Hope I miss that Change. | ||

The Forever War was a good book. I enjoyed it. My favorite Joe Haldeman book was There Is No Darkness, co-written with his brother Jack. Any political comments posted by me do not necessarily reflect my personal opinions. I decided to just post any e-mail politics that I get on Badweb. | ||

The Forever War... Very good book. Followed by Forever Peace - in the middle of now. and Forever Free - good, but with a kinda rather convenient ending. | ||
