Buell is so unreliable! I went to change tires and my rear wheel bearings are toast! I've never had to change them on any other bike before! I only got 44,540 miles out of them!

Hmm, I've had to change wheel bearings on many bikes. Guess I just ride harder than you or maybe more miles per year or..... Anyway, do yourself a favor and replace both sides and the bearing spacer. You will then be good for many care-free s'miles. Later Neil S. |

Oh I know, I'll be headed to American Sport Bike after work today and Al is going to hook me up with everything. I'm not actually complaining. The only reason I've never had to change them on other bikes is I never bothered to ride them enough. On the other hand, its hard to keep me off the Buell I just read so much about premature failures, I wanted to inject my datapoint that they can indeed last a good long time. They haven't even failed yet, just starting to feel a little rough. |
