It is an official threat in order to shut down the message and silence the messenger. It's the same tactic as threatening an IRS audit against a person or entity with whom you politically disagree. Consider that the recordings of Monica Lewinski were also deemed "illegal". What gives the creators of these videos immunity is the public groundswell of outrage prompting righteous prosecution rather than frivolous indictments. |
