I tend not to believe any news story until I read the WHOLE thing and then do a little investigation myself. The headlines and opening paragraphs these days are laughable. |

Court, Obama is the classic fall guy, put him out front and manipulate behind the scenes. He is good at making enemies and his innate arrogance will win him few friends. The current crop around him are typical of the users that flock to power and he will be left spinning in the wind when the real crimes get "discovered". Any person that could bail him out of this mess is likely to "suicide" like the key witness did in the Blago case a couple of days ago, coincidentalyy just five days before he was to report to prison. Rahm is tough enough and nasty enough to inspire real fear and real respect from that Chicago crowd. Obama is out front and hasn't looked down to see the cliff, clouds and dreams can be so invigorating. I would still like to be wrong, but 27 years of living in Illinois can sour an outlook. |

I was watching a late night news show, maybe MSNBC and they were interviewing Bill Clinton. I might have got this wrong but I heard hims say "I don't think this is the change we can believe in". He probably was commenting on the 9/12 project crowds and he really said They instead of we. Still haven't been able to laocate that clip. Will search more tomorrrow. If he did say it and MSNBC has it, it is likely gone. |

I would still like to be wrong, but 27 years of living in Illinois can sour an outlook. I've lived in Illinois for 31 years now and my outlook hasn't soured yet! It's not a picture perfect state but living near the Chain of Lakes and right on the Wisconsin border sure is nice. Roughly half way between Chicago and Milwaukee so I get the best that both cities has to offer. |

Obama is no Clinton I guess thats good. I only meant that if the description of Obama is true, a hapless front man for a darker underbelly, he is no Clinton. They insist on doing their own dirty work. |

One of our paper's columnists was actually lamenting the fact the the mainstream media is losing out, and he doesn't understand why. He just doesn't get it. |
