Greg Holman ride
Here is what is planned. Friday we will be going to dinner etc at Poopy's somewhere around 8 the band and dinner is from 6-10. Spend the night at L &M Motel. Sat morning meet up at L&M motel to go to breakfast at Poopy's again hopefully 8-8:30 am. After breakfast ride to Anamosa to the motorcycle museum arriving mid morning. From there we will determine where we want to go. JP cycle? Or just start riding. There is a Days Inn in Dubuque that Tim G found, I called and they said they have rooms so if we make it to Dubuque Sat. night that would be a nice place to stay. This is the plan. Can't wait to see everyone, ride and have some laughs remembering Greg.

I'm still planning on coming to Dubuque Sat night to meet up with all of you.
I'd like someone who is going to be with the group to PM me their cell so I can find you when I get there. Probably be able to be in Dubuque by about 7pm? |

I remember when I heard the news....
I just got done racing at Mid Ohio and Badlionsfan aka Ben told me the news...
Half deaf from racing.. I said WHO?.. Then he showed me a pic on his I pod... that hit me like a ton of bricks.
I had only met Greg a couple of times at March Badness, Homecoming... took a bus ride to the Summerfest grounds... I got him all confused about when he was supposed to go on the track at Road America during Homecoming....
he called me Wolf Refrigerator... lol
He is missed..... Pegs down tomorrow. |

Well, I just got back from Dubuque.
Had a great time catching up with old friends and making new ones. Always good to hang out with a bunch of Buell riders!

You guys have no idea how great it was seeing you again. Been a long time. Way too long.
We all feasted on Mexican food, then went back to the hotel parking lot(where as always, lots of fun takes place at any Buell gathering) for some laughs.
I had to leave too soon.
Mike, sorry the hotel wouldn't give you a key to the pool! Hahahah
I vote we make this an annual event/ride. I will even try to make it on 2 wheels next time. |

Sorry I didn't make it over. I didn't leave Decorah until 5 and I was fighting a bit of a headache so by the time I got to Guttenberg I turned west to head home.
Glad to hear you guys had a good ride and decent weather. |
