Brumbear you might be better at explaining this than I am.... Sometimes translation for geography isn't the greatest. Ben I'm betting you might recognize where this pic was taken

Garrett, Driving or riding on the Autobahns is truly a blast! Be careful however as the small cars that are usually rented are truly like roller skates - a little steering input goes a LONG way, especially at higher speeds. It usually takes me a little while to get reacquainted to driving at top speed each trip. Unfortunately, I haven't been lucky enough to hit the Nurburgring - yet... But I did have a belgian waffle last Friday on my way to New Jersey Motorsports Park - I hope that counts a little. I've responded to your PM and copied my 2 best Buell riding buddies in Germany. But since it was late when I responded I cut it short for tonight. Hopefully I will be able to add more tomorrow night. If you've got any questions, let me know. Above all else - enjoy your time in Deutschland! 1313 P.S. I forgot to mention in my Email that a new Porsche museum opened up in Stuttgart in either late January or early February. I haven't made it there during any of my trips yet, but from what I've read about it - it definitely sounds like it's worth checking out. (Message edited by 1313 on September 11, 2009) |

}Kasebrot und currywurst mit eine krystal wiezen bitte they will never understand Odie True! Luckily there is a German couple here that opened a restaurant called the Schnitzel House. They are from around the Nurnberg area. Great food. I have tried to talk them into making some Schwine (sp) Steak and Bratkartofflen but they stick with the staples of German food- Kraut, Schnitzel, Cordon Blue, etc. Great food none the less though. I'm glad they are here! The Class VI store on post has been getting Tucher for some time now. I pick up a rack now and then to spoil myself. Close my eyes and I'm back in Bavaria! |

Just say NO to blood sausage, head cheese, and Jaegermeister. In East Berlin, back in the day, I ordered hachfleisch mit eir, got a raw cubed pork steak with a raw egg on top. No samanella, no trichinosis over there. It's an acquired taste. |
