DRAW!!! I did not crash and the cubs did not die!! Took a ride up in the hills today and was cruising down a fire service road(in full leathers mind you) when all of a sudden right next to me two bear cubs come running out! One darted right in front of me and the other right into my right side, like a sideswipe. The one that hit me let out a nasty squeal and rolled a time or two. The other managed to stay in front and get by. Needless to say I was freaking out, so I took off just in case momma was close. Both cubs were good size, one prolly stood 6 feet, his back was over the front fender on the Uly, the other one I did not see so well as it was bouncing off me. Still cannot believe I did not go down. |

Damn! You're the second 3%er to hit a bear. Mountainrider didn't fare nearly so well though. Glad you kept it on two. |

Wow, the bear activity in Georgia is crazy. I had to stop and let a 400-500lb bear get out of the road on HWY 180 about a month ago and Rick and I had one cross in front of us on HWY 52 going over Ft. Mountain about a month before that. |

hey, my son tells me my new CR looks like a transformer and the pods should have machine guns that pop out. Maybe that should be a needed accessory for North Georgia riding. I have lived here since I was 5 and spent most of my early years in the woods and never seen a bear or knew anybody that had. One got hit by a car a mile from my house last year and I have seen 2 this year... machine guns in the pods |

I feel very lucky to have not even dropped the bike, I was def. pumped up for a while after that. I like machine gus, and the Uly has a place to carry them! To be honest I was more worried about being eaten than crashin. |
