I got really lucky last night!!! My friend and I were driving back from a concert. She failed to stop at the light while making a left hand turn from a divided six lane road. There was a truck in the oncoming turn lane...
There was a black SUV... maybe Cadillac Escilade heading straight at us. He was haulin a$$ also, maybe 50 mph.
Time stopped. I was thinking "We are F*%$^(!" He was roughly ten feet from us when my friend hit the gas hard and we squeeked through the intersection.
I almost pissed my pants as my sister in high school had us T-Boned this exact same way. I was in the front passenger seat in that one and we got hit on the right rear door. So I was lucky then too!
After we both calmed down she said "I bet you won't let me drive you around town any more?" I said "Exactly. Never Again!"
At least we were both very lucky and had a chance to laugh about it.
C, no i am still here. they most likely would not let me go back
just kidding, i am harmless now. no more motorcycles, high speed chases or fights. i got old, fat and boring
i did recently take up bouncing again (at my old club where i used to work) in an attempt to rejuvenate my life after a 4 month 22k mile cross country road trip to re prioritize my life
but it made it even worse. some young punk is gonna kick my ass one of these nights - if i am lucky. if not i will get stabbed or shot. it is just not the same anymore. the club is now 4 times the size and i have to try and get 1200 people under control (i was promoted to head of security right away since none of those guys had been in the business for longer than 4 weeks) it is not even funny.
i come home around 4 sunday morning and all i think is :

Unfortunately, that's a typical attitude I hear from women often- they would rather not drive than learn to pay attention while driving. It's almost as if they're saying: "what do you expect- that's what happens if you make me drive...". This country needs a sea change in the education and attitude of vehicle operators.

Sorta off topic.....Here is a near miss/neart hit. Cannon ball hit house 400 yards off course after hitting a rock. I can vouch for that. I had a 1 pound cannon ball get away from me years ago and watched as it skipped across the plowing like it would never stop. I was miles from anything tho.

C,
there is only so many of them i can sit on And the whole club has changed - it is 95% black now, so my shaved head has no support whatsoever if anything goes down....
and i don't know - but the whole "it's like a porn casting" female clientele just does not do much for me either (anymore)- maybe I am just too busy during the night.
