sorry for the late post, I was out riding ! Next challenge, your bike in front of a neighborhood icecream vendor truck, you know the lil converted Grummans with the sliding door and the annoying jingle. |

Gawd! just the thought of listening to that "music" long enough to shoot the picture should be worth 10,000 bonus points. My man rolls our neighborhood around 12:30 E.S.T. , so ya's have about 4 hours to beat me.. |

This is going to be a good one though, as finding one is a little more random than most challenges... |

I know it will be tough for me, I am in the sticks. The closest thing would be a hot dog truck that sells ice cream, but I am up for a challenge. |

Roll on Friday...ice cream truck day. Of course it wouldn't be fair to make him stop for a pic without making a purchase for his time!!! |

Dang. After lobbying for a challenge I could meet, I won't be playing for a few days; death in the family (cousin). |

I heard the music this morning after work but was sorely disappointed to learn that it was someone's car alarm. Kind of a cool idea though.. the ice cream truck music got a lot more attention than a normal car alarm would have. |

LoL PK, the damn car alarms around here go off, and NO-ONE bats an eye. Ice cream man comes, and the street is bustling. You may be on to something there... |

Next challenge: Your two-wheeled transportation device pictured with an ARTIFICIAL waterfall - as in man made. This can include a hydro-electric dam, the 19th hole at the local mini-golf joint, or, if you are so daring, the coy pond inside your favorite Chinese or Japanese eatery. One glove must be placed on the passanger seat or passanger cowl. 11 bonus points if you're taking a drink from said waterfall. |

Gah, I just saw the ice cream van when I was out running errands in my truck. Do you think I can find him now...... |

This thread has been fun, but sometimes even fun gets depressing. When I bought my old house, one of my favorite things was looking out the window and admiring the treelined top of the ridge we call White Oak Mtn. Then PROGRESS came along. They mowed down the trees and parked these monsters up there.
To irritate me even more, when they blazed a way up, from pretty Parkers Gap, the built a FAKE water fall.

I wish I could remember what has passed here before. I used to work on a lot of construction jobs, and one way or another seemed to have fun with the portapotty. How 'bout a potapot on a construction site with your bike by it. Extra points for my favorite lunch in the old days; an RC and a Moon Pie on the seat. Also, double points if the PP is horizontal AND occupied. If you are out in the sticks and no construction, an in use outhouse will be acceptable. Two holers worth more, Men's and Women's twice that much! |

Next up: I want to see your bike pictured with a Ford N-series tractor. Glove on the airbox for a marker. Look here to learn how to ID: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_N_Series_Tractor s |

I believe this to be an NAA series tractor (see WIKI page scroll down a little on right), it was dark, high beam on to help light it up.
I'll wait for a judges (XL1200R) call before posting next challenge. (Message edited by Toona on August 13, 2009) |

Your next mission should you choose to accept: Your bike in front of some kind of automobile customization shop, preferably no "Tuner" cars (imports) I'm not looking for a shop that just installs custom wheels or tints windows. Bonus if it's an actual hot rod shop. marker: gloves over dash. |

Who's keeping up with stats? Is this a quest/completion record? Knocking them out! Rotz, I believe there have been a few missions completed in under an hour, not sure how fast the quickest mission was completed, but I think it was under 15 minutes back towards the beginning of this thread. I remember doing one of a military vehicle pretty quick. I'll go back tomorrow and get a better pic of the NAA tractor in day light. |

Judges? Its the new work sight, we do high end exotics; Porsches, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, errant Lambo and Austin's, our latest wide wheel fat fender kit> but it is my work, and I do ride there every day, and the bike is parked out front..... so really only my commute in was the ride..... |
