C'mon someone get this one. I know of one, but from where I sit right now at work (buell in lot and camera in pocket) its about 75 miles there and 50 back. Get it before I get off work and give in to temptation |

Crappy day so far, after getting the pipes mostly fixed, I shot off to my dealer to pickup my plates for the CR, then I went to the fort about an hour from my house, and I figured out I left my cameraphone home! Lucky me. I got home, checked the mail and got a letter from a lawyer basically saying they are gonna sue me for the accident I was in a few weeks ago. Oh joy. |

Is it time to invoke the 24 hr. rule yet? The current challenge apparently excludes a lot of people. |

It may be. You'd think somebody would have managed this one. Does it go back to Ted or what? Somebody make a call. Maybe if it was just any kind of fort? You know...with a cannon....and a moat....and a rainbow |

I say Ted picks a new one. If someone gets the fort or the new one they get to choose next. |

Fort would have been cake had I been home... I, too, am surprised this hasn't been completed. |

I'm invoking the 24hr rule, I'm adding an additional challenge.. Who ever posts first "Fort or Pet Pic wins.. Your Pet on or leaning on your Buell, lights on.... Bonus for flair, scarves, goggles or buell key on the collar. make sure rover doesn't have a rocket I don't want to explain to my kids..

I'm heading out in the early am for NW Pa. I will see if I can get one on my trip, even though both Buells are in the back of my truck. Meanwhile post on, Ted, find something else these lazy, cake eating, couch potato, channel changers can find easier. Man, I passed a great one a couple of weeks ago near Newport Tn. Just a little wood fort right along the road with one of those marker placards telling of it's historical importance. I haven't had time to go back there , but it looked cool, original building outpost, two story log structure about 15 feet square. I will report back when I get near a 'puter! I have plans to meet with Dottrz for our trip to WVBR III near Meadville Pa. To get there I will be taking a back route to hit a little town of "Buell Corners" to get a picture of their sign(I hope they have one). |

How's my dog?
If that's good, let's see a picture of a Buell doing a burnout in the dirt or mud. The more dirt or mud flying the better. (Message edited by Us_uly on August 09, 2009) |

4. Because of time zones, each mission should be posted for at least 24 hrs, Unless everyone agree's it's something nobody wants to do, ie. "Smiley Burnout", in that case the last one with the failed mission will get to choose again. But... Slicker may be up for this one!... I hope so.. I kinda wanna see it! |

#28?!? Forgive me for saying so, but it might be time to call time on the current challenge (again). This thread was really rockin' when we were all racing each other out of our driveways with our laptops in our backpacks, looking for the nearest wifi after we had gotten the picture. In the interest of keeping this thread alive and well, may I offer a few suggestions for new challenges: - ambulance - water tower with school mascot painted on it - detour sign or end construction sign - farm tractor - tour bus - construction site with pipe in background - barber shop cane - taxidermy shop - anything Elvis related - fast food job application with actual restaurant in background - baseball field or tennis court - City Hall, bonus for picture with Mayor - Winnebago (again ) - live chicken or rooster - sign with a word starting with 'J' in it - hubcap reseller - truck with more than one trailer and one that I was saving up, - charity/donation station, bonus points for donation receipt. What say you all? Time for another challenge? (Message edited by hmartin on August 11, 2009) |
