3 tubers.. I think I could manage that. Haven't seen any 1125's since I moved to oklahoma though Oh and a pic at the local hd (not buell) dealer would have to suffice. Oh well I'm back in missouri anyway so can't play atm. That means another 1k miles on my tuber  | ||

My ace in the hole tuber is up on the lift with issues..... damnit. I still have all the lists of everyone that bought a tuber when I was at the shop. I will be on the phone tomorrow. | ||

I've got a tuber in the garage (bent still) & an XB. But I've not even seen an 1125 here except on the showroom floor. Also no bike dealers open here on a Monday. I'll pass on this one. | ||

I think this is a good challenge - but let's stick to the "if no one completes it in 24 hours" rule and let the challenge post a new or modified one. This one would be cake for anyone with a tuber as a dealer would most certainly have an 1125 and an XB on the floor. And where are the 1125's (xl1200r excepted)??? Sorry I've been missing a bit - moved into the new house I just bought over the past week so riding has been put on hold. Likely won't get much done this week either (lots of stuff to still take care of with the house - unpacking, getting a washer and dryer, etc). THEN, next week, I'm off for an 8-day road trip through New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky on the 1125. I'll try to stay up to date with the thread and maybe convince the guys to do a group challenge with me HAVE AT IT!!! | ||

Hey guys, I like the "if not completed in 24 hours" deal. Sorry if I went over board on this and I would ask that if no one completes it then someone else come up with the next challenge. I think this is great and any idea that gets us out on the bikes vice sitting in front of a computer is good. I was thinking that the most difficult part of the challenge would be to get a pic at a HD/Buell dealership without any other makes of bikes in the picture but I guess that is wrong and the most difficult part is getting three generations of Buells together. If I may explain my challenge a bit: It seems to me, this is just my opinion, that every time Buell comes out with a different type of platform, a younger generation joins the Buell ranks. I just thought it would be nice to get three generations of bikes together and figured people may need to reach out to that "Old grumpy Tuber guy" down the street (that would be me!!!). Or the young fast guy on the 1125R. Of course there are exceptions. Zac is a grumpy old biker dude on a 1125R LOL. (Sorry Zac) I am not sure who is running the thread or the rules but you all make the decisions and do not think you will hurt my feelings. It is all about fun and I am having fun seeing the different challenges and pictures. If you want to change or modify the challenge please do. Go ride! Frank | ||

I think it's less a 'rule' and more a 'practice' that a challenge, if unfulfilled after 24 hours, get revised by the original issuer (that'd be you, F_skinner). I think three generations is a great idea - I know I'd be able to do this with NO dificulty if I were a tuber owner, and very little if, say, my dealer has a used tuber for sale, or I knew someone with a tuber. I hope we get this pic, or something close. | ||

Ive got the XB, we have an 1125R for sale, and I am on the phone to get a tuber.... but we are not an authorized HD Dealership.... I know I could get it on Thrusday when the bikini girls are washing bikes. But for style points 1 XB, 1 Tuber, 1 Blast, 1 XB and some Hooter girls for good measure.  | ||

I'd say let's ammend this mission and perhaps not require the three bikes be pictured at a Buell dealer, but instead make that part worth 15 bonus points. | ||

Your Buell with your Country's flag in the background (on a flag pole or otherwise properly displayed) with one other flag (MIA, State Flag, another Countries Flag). 100 Bonus points for any active duty military in uniform. 1000 bonus points if the military person in uniform is you. 10000 bonus points if the person is in a VFW uniform. Go! | ||

I like it as well and think I can pull it off but want someone else to do it. The hard part, as I see it, is not the three generations of Buell but the picture at a HD dealer without any other non-Buell bikes in the picture. No big deal. It lasted longer than 24 hours so by the rules it has to be throw out. If I win another one (doubtful) it will be back. | ||

And some flags. They're really signs of flags so I need a ruling.  If I completed the challenge then the next one will be your bike next to a delivery truck. Bonus points if it's at a loading dock. Should be easy. |
