I didn't make it in time, having too much fun riding, but I saw some Alpaca's. The black one wasn't sure what to make of the Buell at first, stared at me until I switched the engine off. Now that's cool... I finally get a photo of a buell and an Alpaca... The ultimate goal it to get a photo of an xbr next to a buffalo. I have always thought they looked similar. | ||

Looking back I see a distinct low participation from the ULY crew.... So this one is for them. (or any brave Bueller that decides to take the challenge) Your bike, at a Trail head marking a National Forest Service Road or Hiking Trail. Bike must be on gravel, or unpaved parking lot. (before you jump on me, really there are a lot of our drive ways that are more aggressive than NFS roads) | ||

I will be all over that trail head thing Sunday. Gonna do the Gatlinburg over NewFound Gap to Cherokee to Robbinsville over the Cherohala to Tellico ride. Can't make it that far tomorrow, got a job to finish. Another "crap, it won't be in time deal". | ||

The strangest thing happened tonight... We heard something rustling in the trees out the back...  Wild Elmos! Very rare around here, only ever seen at night, they seemed curious about the Buell and Zed...  ... but the flash must have startled them...  No Elmos were harmed in the making of this post. I seen em, me and Clem was jus min'd our own bidnz and sure as the mole that is on Aunt Frannys butt, there they was, just lookn at uz you know, it kinda kreep'd me out. Well ya know Clem, he had the sauce in him and getz up to chase em to catch one wantta grillz it. Ainta eva seen somethn move so fast, it was like they were aliens, all googlie eyed and red, but smalls ya know. Clem never caught em, he ended up face down in the kiddie pool after trippin over the cinder block thats s'pose to be unda the cameroz. Close enough for family for ya ? |
