How does some chick working inside a Business come close to a person on the side of the road advertising? she does not look like she is advertising to me. Am I out of line here or are you trying to blow me off? This is stupid, I have been trying to get a challenge done all week, this is lame in my book. Get Vanessa to walk out to the road and hold a sign with her near your bike is what I has in mind. |

Pokinatcha, I don't think anyone is blowing you off. I personally would consider the french maid a great mascot. Maybe as a consolation you and mugbug can come up with a new challenge together. |

Y'all play nice now. I'm taking my son to Mid Ohio for the AMA Races this weekend. I'll be back in competition on Monday.... unless one of the challenges is: your son sitting on the new 1125RR... |

City...would ya mind goin' back to the coffee shop and gettin' the French Maid to hold a sign for ya? I figure I'd really have to twist your arm to ask you to go back... While I think the French maid costume isn't your everyday work attire, Pokinatcha did ask for a sign as part of the mission. |

I am not hating on the french maid outfit at all. It is clear what my challenge was from the get go. Carry on with the game and next time my challenge will have to be more diverse. End of story in my book. I love this thread, keep it going where the game is as of now. I will post my own challenge tomorrow just to keep it real for me. |

BTW, I will come up with a good challenge just for city. My favorite Punk band of all time is from Bremerton. My screen name is a song by MxPx. One of these days I'm gunna get to a show up there in their hometown. |

Corporate - Thanks for the offer on the bonus but I think Cityx should take the cake, his post fulfilled the requirement before mine did. *Oops - Just went back and read your post Cityx - I'll gladly accept the bonus - Thanks!* This is a great game - I'm just having fun going on the missions. Let's get out and ride!! (Message edited by will742 on July 17, 2009) |

Will, mudbug said he is going pass on giving blood. If you or anyone else gives blood in the next week the bag is yours. |

Okey Dokey then...the next challenge is.... A pic of your bike with an animal racecourse in the picture. Can be horses/dogs or anything else that may race in your neck of the woods. (must be animals though..no vehicle tracks) The marker is a glove over the headlight/s. Bonus points for getting the animal that races there in the pic too. On your marks...get set...GO!! |

Old building looked like a dog track. New building looks like a plain old building but the sign say's it all. |

This is what I had in mind for a business advertisement person holding a sign. |

How about a shot of a skateboard/BMX park with a good amount of ramps visible with your bike somewhere in the picture. Probably like a public park most likely. I can think of three close to me so this one should not be hard. Sorry for the delay, had to get with my nephew for ideas on this one. |

Jarstad skate park. If I had the Buell, I would drive right into the middle of it. Enough jumps, ramps and rails ? An article about the Jarstad YMCA skate park http://www.ci.bremerton.wa.us/articles.php?id=839 |

I propose a new rule. You can't post your winning pic unless it is includes the next challenge. If you haven't thought of it yet...wait until you come up with something. |

Oh ive got the next challenge. I am just not sure there are enough jumps, ramps, rails visible enough to get on with it. if everybody is agreed then here it is: Your bike infront of roadside kitsche land mark. The old route 66 type stuff. ie Big dinasaurs, Hat & Boots, Paul Bunyan & Babe, the Big ball o twine, Wigwam Teepee Motel stuff, Car Henge etc.... (no national landmarks, sorry MT Rushmore) Helmet on seat to prove new pic. |

Quit weighing it down with rules, I didn't pitch a fit when grumps met my challenge without Hooters girls, I applauded his creativity and the thread moved on! Quit weighing the game down with crazy rules, leave room for some improvization and enjoy! |

How about a round of applause for Will742 The photo of him giving blood with a "badweb cares" sign is just epic. Absolutely epic... Will PM'ed me to politely decline my offer of the buell bag. So I still stand by my original offer. If another badweb member would like to donate blood (with required sign), I will send out the bag at my expense . |

Good for you Will. Haven't been able play the game yet but am looking forward to the chance. Too many rules will only bog down this great game. KISS is the motto to follow with the rules for this game. |

for Will742. Well it's a beautiful saturday morning here, blue skies, about 17°C, and playing this game has got me all inspired, and I am going for a ride . I'll keep an eye out for roadside kitsche, but I'm guessing you guys will have done it when I get back. Yep, KISS sounds good to me. cheers, chili |

Done I have a series of roadside icons First up is the fames Boot and Hat gas station. http://www.historylink.org/index.cfm?DisplayPage=o utput.cfm&file_id=3480 It was set to be torn down a few years ago, but a group saved it and moved it to a city park. Currently the Hat is under plastic as they are still restoring it. If that doesn't work I have the former Andy's diner. It was made up of retired rail cars. It is now a low budget chinese place. Down the street is the Elephant Car Wash. http://elephantcarwash.com/website/ Finally I took some photos of what I consider modern road side icons. First up is the Concorde located at the Boeing flight museum. Buell meet Concorde... http://www.museumofflight.org/aircraft/concorde Or how about the a Boeing 747 serial number 1. http://www.museumofflight.org/aircraft/boeing-747-121 Or last but not least, how about JFK's airforce one? This was the first of the modern jet 707's. Jackie O was the one that decided paint it blue. This plane is very historic. Yes you can tour it. http://www.museumofflight.org/aircraft/boeing-vc-137b-707-120sam-970-air-force-one (Message edited by corporatemonkey on July 17, 2009) |

Next challenge: I want to see livestock... Cow's and horses will suffice, but what I really want to see it something unique: Llama's Alpaca's (sp?) Bison Emu etc... BTW: for the record, I had promised my next challenge choice to Will for completing my bonus. I have not yet heard back from him, so I will let him choose for me if I win again. |

WOO HOO!!! I fought with my computer for about 15 minutes trying to convince it to resize the dang pic! Anyway, next challenge: I want to see your air cooled bike next to any air cooled car (no radiators in the pic!). If you don't have an air cooled bike, then I want to see your water cooled bike next to a water cooled computer, or a water cooled propeller plane! This should be fun! -Sam |
