Brian, I hope to see a pm from court by tomorrow(I know he is a very busy man) When I find out the t-shirt sizes I'll head over and pick up the shirts. I'll swing by tomorrow evening. 3rd herd has a busy day tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it in this 130 degree weather |

I arrived in Kuwait a little over a week ago. Its hot and sandy, big shocker right. I will be stationed on camp Arifjon, so any one that is coming in or out of theater pretty much stops here first. So any badwebbers that want to get together and have a near beer, hit me up. I'll post up my APO, but please send care packages to those in Iraq or Afghanistan, we have access to everything we need, except good motorcycle magazines. MA2 Compton, Bradley Navy Law and Order APO AE 09366 This thread is the one of the most positive threads I have seen for service members. I brought a Buell flag with me, and will post up pictures as soon as I can get an internet card for my laptop. Internet right now is at the MWR. Thanks again to all of you that support the troops. |

Blake, thanks! Sorry there has not been too much coming from us here, things picked up a bit here about week and a half ago. As everyone knows, the closer you get to a certain date, the slower time seems to move... Chris, Incase you missed it, I sent out the package a few days ago. I have a few ideas in mind, maybe I will catch you at the gym tonite. If not, I will try to catch up with you in the next few days. Take care everyone, Brian |

>>>>court, any update on the flag exchange? XB9ER Kinda "yes". The update is that I have completely dropped the ball on this while juggling here. but . . The good news is it's easy to fix. I'm accumulating stuff for a Saturday mailing. Let me know what you are needing or wanting to do and we'll get it taken care of pronto. STINGER I got the package you guys sent last night and can not tell you how moved I was. The goodies were GREAT but the crowning glory was the notes those brave American Soldiers put in the book. I'm not a tears kinda guy and I got a chill and sense of pride that I've not felt since hearing the Marine Corps Band play the National Anthem at my graduation. You guys are the best. The book will be headed for the lobby at Buell and Erik's stuff will be headed to him on Saturday. On behalf of both Erik and I, and I'm sure you'll hear from him as he was kicking himbelf for not writing the last time we visited, a huge THANK YOU for both your kindness AND your service. The "REST OF YOU" I've lost track of who I've sent books, posters, shirts and stuff to. If you are a DEPLOYED BUELLER and have not yet got the DEPLOYED BUELLER SURVIVAL KIT . . please post here and let me know. In addition, I have the mailing information for Benny, a Buell employee, that if I can get permission I want to include on our list. GRATEFUL CITIZENS If you haven't yet sent anything to our brave American Soldiers here's a great chance to step up. Each and every package is truly appreciated. I know from my own experience, even the letters from my crazy Aunt were welcome . . . it's not so much the content as the fact that folks are thinking of you and supporting you. There's a list above and it's as easy as pie sending stuff . . . if you've got a moment, take time and drop some goodies in the mail. Thanks again to all AMERICAN SERVICE personnel . . . I hope the message is getting there and past all the "should we or should we not be in in Iraq" noise that clogs the airways but you folks are amazing and your dedication and sacrifice for our freedom is not unnoticed. Badweb has LOTS of Veterans and each and every one of us is keeping you in our thoughts and prayers every day. Court USMC 1974 - 1908 |

Firebolt...... give me about a week and I'll see if I can't get a nice box of goodies to you. I'd send something out sooner but I recently found out that I'll be in the unemployment line soon and my better half is tightening the belt on my spending. Since this will be going to a good cause and not for any "motorcycle things" I think she'll be ok with it. Stay safe. |

court, as for me I'm pretty good on stuff. Although I could always use some of the buell racing stickers. They are hard to find. I got one for my bike at the factory last year at homecoming. For the flag, if Erik is cool with it and something he would like to do just send me an address to send it to and I will get it there and the buell flag can be sent to me here. I'm so happy you liked brian and I's package. It is the least we could do for you guys. I wish I could do the same for all the folks that send us packages. NOTE FOR EVERYONE-August 1st is the last day brian and I can get packages. After that date all mail will be sent back to the sender. All of you guys are like family to me. I cant thank ya'll enough. All of the other deployed badwebbers when I get home you can be sure I'll be sending stuff out asap. I want to thank you for your service. All of you are my brothers! |

Firebolt020283 - Don - what size shirt you need? How many Buellers in your unit? If you have others, let me know. Kenney83 - Steven - Let me know if you need a shirt and, if so, what size. Xb9er - Chris - I'll get a Buell flag on the way to you. Let me know what else you are needing. Friday is a day off so I'll shop on Friday, ship on Saturday. All of you get your lists together. The package was spectacular and the book will be proudly displayed at Buell. You guys frickin' ROCK! Court |

BUMP for my fellow troopies. Question for court- I know that GM has a program that you can go to the corvette factory and watch your vette being built then take delivery of it on the spot. Does buell do anything like this? I think this would be a great vacation when I come back home. |

Buell does not. But . . . there MAY be:
- A way around this.
- A very attractive similar deal.
I know you can't discuss dates, so don't. I'll be back to you. In the meantime, I have a Buell flag, flown over the Buell plant, I'll be sending within the next 10 days. I'll be in touch with you on the other. You guys are in our thoughts and prayers daily. Court |

My brother was deployed. He is a 21B Engineer out of Ft Leonardwood. He recently bought a Buell from Iraq. I like to think I guided him to the decision Well, he made it all in one piece with only a few scrapes but he's back home. My Grandmother at one time had 6, I think it was six of us, grandson's in the ME at one time for several months last year. My brother was the last one of us left over there and she's glad to have him return. He was a route clearance driver and got hit a few times but thank God for MRAP's. I posted a few times when he had gotten hit. I think it was three times in all. I for one am glad to have him back because I know what it's like for him but you can't control anything in his realm. When it's you, you don't give a shit, you control your actions and do shit you gotta do to stay safe and minimize risk. You don't have that piece of mind when it is him there instead. I somewhat feel like a mil. spouse. No control and the loved one is out there and you don't know when you'll talk to them again. I'll show him around the site here when I finally meet up with him later this month. I am in Athens, GA at a Navy school for two weeks and counting down the days. BTW, PM me if you are a BadWeB'er near Athens! |

Cuda, Glad to hear your brother got home safe and sound. Getting hit a couple of times I can't imagine to be fun, being route clearance driver puts him up in the packing huge brass balls category. I know I am suffering shortimers right now, trying hard not to count down the days but just keep busy. For everyones' situational awareness, do not send any mail after August 1st, as it will be returned to the sender. Ordering a rear tire now, and maybe a few other odds and ends for the short riding season left this year. Take care, Brian |
