I was told the best way to send items is the USPS. If you send magazines and they have an address on them, cut out the address. Don't know about forbidden item but I guess alcohol would be one of them. (try to hide the porn) |

Be sure to put items that may leak (sunscreen, powder) in zip lock bags. Get a flat rate box and stuff it full! I also unpack boxes of individually wrapped food items. |

Firebolt020283: That photo is OFF THE CHARTS cool . . . .hope you don't mind if I share with the Buell family! Your "special surprise" got delayed going out by my graduation yesterday and today . . . but will be on the way by Friday. Give me a day to decompress. You guys be safe and we're behind you 100%. By the way . . . Staten Island has a project entitled "operation home front". . . . I just drop off the package, with a customs form and they pay all the postage . . . neat and easy. All the best, Court |

Wow wish I had that round here. The response from my co-workers has been tremendous, I may have to send a few boxes of goodies since I don't know if I can fit everything into one. Good people kick ass!!! |

I have been getting cash and product donations from a lot of people here (and my NEBO crew) and I figure I have enough stuff to send a box over to someone over in Afghanistan as well. So far I have been able to raise over $300 as well as some of the stuff that is on the list. Kenney83...... is that the proper address for you over in Afghanistan? Don't know anything about military address' but I guess that is all I need. Sampling of what is on my desk so far. Shipping stuff tomorrow.

I have to say that I am very proud of the folks that I work with as they have been coming through bigtime. There are less than 50 people that work here and I've received donations from more than half of them. |

Damnut: You're now a hero for stepping up and doing what needs to be done. SEND me your name and address and let me send you something for taking the initiative. Our guys and gals in the Armed Forces need and deserve our support. It is so neat to see the folks of Badweb doing this. Court |

I am glad you liked the picture. I was so excited to get them that I just had to show them off. Its not every day I get my favorite book sent to me from one of its authors. and a cool poster that celebrates me and my motorcycle company's age. I Just got threw reading the book just now (my 4th time ever riding it as my wife had bought it for my for Christmas last year). As requested I have been jotting down things in the book such as what the pictures remind me of as in my life experiences with buells, noticing cool things in some of the pictures and questions. |

Damnut ya that is the correct adress. when you go to the post office you need to fill out a customs form. the post office also has flat rate boxes for APO shipping. something like $11 a box. thanks for the support. kenney |

>>>>As requested I have been jotting down things in the book Perfect! . . . . when you guys all get back I'd like to display those "deployed" books at the factory and Erik, Dave and I will send you new ones. it's be fun for visitors at East Troy to see how, during the time you and your Buell were apart, that the company that engineered, designed and built the motorcycle never forgot you. Erik and I and our wives are from a generation that was less thankful when it's soldiers came home. The one best thing we can do is . . . better. We'll keep doing our best to be the folks and the company who supports you and lets you know everyday that we're thinking of you and wishing you home to your family and Buells safely and quickly. We are very proud of you. I graduated from Columbia this last Wednesday and it was interesting, with 35, 000 folks assembled there, to see the young students look at me as the national anthem began playing. I removed my mortar board, turned to the flag and put my hand over my heart. As the kids (I was the oldest) in the graduate school saw what I was doing they began doing the same thing. I felt like it was in part my duty to show them the respect for the flag, country and the people who are bravely defending it . . . . that has sort of been lost over the last several years. Erik and I don't always agree on everything but I can tell you we have never agreed on anything more than you brave folks deserve our 100% support until you are once again on American soil and able to tell your families you love them. We're with you 100%. Court |

Quick update: Well I was able to raise over $300 for our guys!! I spent $60 at a local dollar store and $300 at BJ's today. Needless to say that I have a lot of stuff shipping out shortly. I have 1 big box going out to Kenney83 and 2 big boxes going out to Stingaroo & company. Well I actually have 4 boxes going to Stingaroo & company but 1 is posters and the other is magazines that I couldn't fit into the big boxes. Here's a layout of what I have going out:
All boxed up and ready to go:
I was feeling good yesterday so I decided to express my feelings with the little blast.
I didn't have time to get this stuff shipped out today so it will go out tomorrow. This is only a small token of my appreciation for our men & women in the military. I thank you all for your service to our great country. I would also like to thank the great folks that I work with and my NEBO crew, they came through in ways I couldn't imagine. I was hoping to send 1/3 of what I have and couldn't have done it without them. Thanks guys, I hope you enjoy the stuff. Stay safe & God bless you all!!. Jim

Oh and Steve... I pack a flag in your box and was wondering if you could fly it for me if you could. If not, no worries. I tried to fold it the correct way but think I may have screwed it up, VERY sorry if I did. haven't folded a flag in 25 years and I was in a rush to get the boxes packed. |

Sorry guys but I will not be able to ship out the boxes till probably Tuesday. I need to find someone to help me lift them up & bring them to the post office. I had an accident last night which left me with 1st & 2nd degree burns on my right hand, wrist and forearm. I can't pick up the big boxes by myself so I need to find someone to help me out. Sorry guys for the delay, I'll get these out ASAP. No riding for me for a while, don't know if I'll be able to drive the Jeep (it's a standard) either. The worst part is my palm & wrist. What a way to start a vacation, I'm off all this week.

Jim, heal up brother, thanks for all the support!!! Alex, got your box today, hae not looked on the thumbstick yet but I will shortly. Brad, brownies turned out fine! I kept about 2 boxes of granola bars and split a pan of brownies with the guys in my Stryker. The rest I took to the Command Post for the rest of the company to enjoy. Was a pretty big hit. Court, congrats on graduating!!! As Chris said, we greatly appreciate your efforts, they are not going un-noticed. Brian |

Jerry, that picture ROCKS!!!!! Brian, VERY glad to hear the brownies arrive in OK condition. That being the case I can have more on the way if you like. The kudo's for those go to my wife, she's the "Magician in the Kitchen" at our household. If you folks need more Nature Valley bars, I can get more on the way. Question, are all the addresses separate at the top of this page or can we ship to one? I kknow that Brian and Chris are inthe same unit, what about the rest? I don't want to leave anyone out... Alex, finally got the box, pretty battered and bruised but the contents were ok. I am going to tyr to watch the movie tonite at somepoint. thanks a Ton for the Bouncing Souls, I did not have the complete albums, just bits and pieces. Dave, got your box today, the mags are all gone, CD's are making the rounds and I gave Sgt Force (pictured above) the sticker for his truck. You should be getting a few phone calls/emails from the guys here, I told them just mention Brian Cessna, and you would know where they got thier info from haha. Brad, we still have about 1/2 the box to get through probably last about another week. I have the food sitting in the briefing room so guys can grab something before the roll out on a mission. Take care all and thanks again1!!! Brian |

I have visions of all these HumVee's scooting around a combat zone sporting BUELL bumper stickers . . . hahahahaha. I think the package I'm sending tomorrow should be fun. It's begun to occur to me that we may be placing our deployed Buell folks at some risk as the "powers that be" may not let them leave at the end of their gig for fear of cutting off the "supply lines". When I read this stuff about our Deployed Buellers and the support the Buell Community is coming through with I am proud to be both an American and a Buell owner. What are the Kawasaki and Suzuki guys getting?. . . . . my GUESS would be "interested in Buells". Heads down and back to work fellas . . . we are 100% behind you! Court |

Brian, Glad it got there in some shape or form- that's the second time that package was sent, the first one was just about completely destroyed when it came back, missing the label. Hope you enjoy the tunes, there are some good ones on there; on song in particular on the Gold Album- track 9. Will be getting more stuff in the mail here soon. Court, I guarantee you there will be some converts out of this crew! |
