Don: I need to get from you the shirt sizes of all the Buell owners in your unit as well. I'll need this for your next survival package next week. Here's the deal on the posters. . . . I have about a hundred of the remaining Large and Medium 25TH ANNIVERSARY posters. . . . problem is Erik has written all over them in chrome paint pen. So, I sent you guys unsigned "combat: versions. They are folded in the book and you are officially licensed by me to do whatever you want/need to to the things. Now, when you head for home . . . .all ya gotta do is let me know and I'll send you one of the pristine rolled (as opposed to folded) ones with the writing on it that is suitable for display. You do your deal there, we have your six here CONUS. By the way . . . I'm not much of a designer but but I am toying with a copy of the book that has an 8" x 8" Titanium ballistic plate in the cover and may be used as an instant shelter. Unfortunately, testing is going very slowly as Dave and I are still haggling over who holds and who fires during product testing, Life is still complicated here in the United States. We're with you guys all the way. Get me the shirt sizes and let me know if you know of any other Buellers needing books. What are the Honda, Ducati and Kawasaki guys getting from their companies? Are they willing to trade? By the way . . . do you need socks and foot powder like the guys in Iraq did? It not, we're using candy for packing in the next box . . . . . Keep at it, be careful, hurry home to a nation that is damned proud of each and every one of you. Thank you guys, Court |

Thanks to all of you who support the military like this. There are alot of active duty and retired military on the Badweb so I'm really not that surprised. lol I remember when I was in the sand how awesome it was when a care package arrived with my name on it and I had no idea it was coming. I am dumbfounded at how Buell, both Erik and the company, are supporting this. Court you are the heat. My father is a retired Marine. I know there are alot of ya'll on board with this now so as a Soldier who has 'been there done that', thanks bros. SSG Kevin M. Watts USA

Just got a long awaited message from a friend in the intel side, "Im doing great with my interviews and lead the unit with contacts and informants. I chaulk it up to my mentor." I am so proud. Still have a couple of Pakols (Uber Kushi) from that earlier mix before many of you were born. Labels removed. In those days, the cholera innoculation was freeze-dried and mixed with hot water, tasted like a garbage can full of dog butts with the good ones picked out. When my friend got the word on going to intel, offered my advice to "Learn all the rules before you hit the playing field. And be prepared." Followed by a short course in agent provacateur-ism, perception management, and NLP to influence and read the interviewees without pushing their heads into a bucket of feces and gasoline, like the Russians do instead of waterboarding for a quick answer. Time to mail off some books, cigars, and more advice to the young man. I'm proud of all of you. Camp Buell would make a nice monicker . . . |

Steve and Don: Be sure to get me your shirt sizes for this next package. Also, I am dispatching the SCU for "filler shopping" today so let me know what kind of "junque food" you want . . . If there are any others needing "Deplored Bueller Survival Kits" be sure to get it posted up here. I'm also tossing in a couple of the LARGE posters this week. The last package, in a book sized envelope, had the smaller one and they were a couple of kinda beat up (I figured perfect for a combat zone) to fit in. Be sure to post up whatever you are wanting . . cookies, M&M, Snickers, Lifesavers or whatever. Erik and I and the wives are enjoying doing this. . . . and I apologize and take total credit for sending the Baskon-Robbins ice cream . . . call me an optimist. Heads down, be careful and hurry home . . Court |

Hoooooooooooooooly Guacamole ! . . . . you guys have hit the big score. The Buells came through with the coolest of the cool stuff for this weeks "DEPLOYED BUELLER SURVIVAL KITS". Vickie is doing shopping this afternoon for packaging and I've got powdered drink mix packets and Pringles on her list. Now I need to make sure I don't miss anyone this week.
- Stinger and XB9er: Let me know the TOTAL NUMBER OF BUELLERS you guys have with you for packaging the special surprise packages and any special snack requests.
- Kenny83: I've got you down as a large, combat version Buell poster and special surprise.
- Firebolt020283: I've got you down for Gold Bond Foot Powder, an XL shirt, Kool-Aid and Special Surprise.
- Patrick2cents: I need a shirt size for you, I have you down as needing the initial "DEPLOYED BUELLER SURVIVAL KITS" with book and poster and let me know if you have any other special food requests.
By the way . . . one of the Buell posters that went last week was pretty ratted up on one side. . . I was getting ready to toss it in the trash and figured it'd be great for combat use. Let me know who got that and I'll send a better one. Shipping day this week is shaping up to be Friday and I think you're going to be bowled over by what the Buells did! Be safe and we're with you guys 100%. Court |

Stingaroo & Xb9er I was getting ready to send you two a care package when I decided to get my fellow co-workers involved. I sent out an email asking everyone if they could help out in any way. They are usually really good with this sort of stuff so I should be able to get a good package together for you guys. (I really pushed for socks) Besides what is on the suggestions, what else do you guys need? I have an old mp3 player if needed. Jim Brian I sent you a PM. |

While I greatly appreciate this, I am really sorry to the other soldiers who are in Afghan that we hijacked this thread. We are in Iraq, not Afghan. Maybe a small suggestion, just have one thread titled for deployed Badwebbers? Just a suggestion, Brian |

Brian - Court had already suggested a change in the title. Today is the first day I've had a chance to catch up on BadWeB duties. |

Hey . . . at least when I asked . . . well I don't have artillery and carry an automatic weapon . . . . now the pressure *IS* on! Seriously . . I am thrilled to see so much support from Badweb folks that we are overrun with threads supporting or guys. Erik and I and our much smarter and better looking wives are having fun doing this but I'm not allowed to shop anymore . . . . my wife, after I came home with M&M painted a pretty erie picture of what M&M's would look like after sitting in customs in the desert for a day and the thought of a 425# Stingeroo with a 46" waist trying to squeeze in a Styker is . .. well, ugly! Kristi. . . thanks for all your help. Cojurt |
