Kristi, Got two boxes last nite from you! I will try to link up with Chris in after chow. Last nite my Stryker was designated to escort the resupply convoy out here from Liberty, then once supplies were unloaded, escort them from here back to Liberty. Took from 1930-0545 to complete that mission. Needless to say, the one box with the cookies and granola bars kept 4 guys from starving most of the nite. I did save some to share with Chris and have not opened the other box yet. Many sincere thanks to all, every little bit of mail we get reminds us people back home still care about us. Thumper, yeah I tried to get my wife to mail the book I got at the 25th anniversary but to no avail. She is scared she would mail it, and one of my favorite books (autographed by 3 great fellas) would get lost, blown up on the way out, or stolen (I still dont trust the POGs). I have one young fellow now, one of our commo guys, who is very interested about starting to ride motrocycles. Another potential Blast rider?? Time to roll before the CAV eats all our food, take care, stay free. Brian |

>>>>Thumper, yeah I tried to get my wife to mail the book I got at the 25th anniversary but to no avail. No need. Erik and I sent a package last Saturday and if I'd been thinking I'd have tossed one in. Fortunately Dave was forward thinking enough to make certain we had a "combat Version" printed. I'll send one in the next package. Share our thanks with all our soldiers and know that we are all thinking of you, thanking you and praying daily for your safe return. There was a very interesting event at Buell recently relating to an Iraq deployment. . . remind me to tell you when you get home! Court |

Kristi, Got two boxes last nite from you! The boxes are a collaborative effort from several BadWebbers. I'm glad you got them and that the cookies and bars kept a few fellas going through the night. Hope you found the special gift in the other box! Alex helped with the selection-LOL!! |

Brian and Chris, if either of you make it back to Liberty in the next 2.5 weeks. Give me a holler. I'm over on Victory (guess I'm a POG :-)) and I'll let you guys use my computer to catch up on stuff if you want to use it. DSN 485-4630 during the day, or pm me on here at night. My unit is fixing to move, but I'll be here for a little longer. I'm out of Fort Drum and should be back in the States by June. Let me know when y'all are back and we'll link up for a ride. Keep your heads down and your asses covered. mike |

Roger. I am still at JSS Nassir Wa Salaam, but all the mail goes through Camp Liberty. Address is still good. Mike, sorry I missed you at VBC, I had to coordinate getting the pumpers lined up to clean out our johnny on the spots (big language barrier there). Our CP back in the rear is at Pad 6, south of Ali's movie shop ("Open everyday, except Fridays!) Tried calling your DSN number, but it could not connect. On the good side, I got Court and Erik's package, in radio jargon, Tango Mike(Thanks Much). I refueled, got the truck staged for our next mission, got briefed on routes etc, then came back to my room to see a box on my bed. Upon opening it, the joes showed up as I shouted out in joy. All but 3 t-shirts are passed out, all the key chains are gone, and I have 3 stickers left. Am hanging on to some to hand over to Chris tommorrow. The posters will be up in my new room once I get moved in. As we speak, 2 of our 4 computers are now on Buell dot com... Thank you all, you have been very gracious! Since I am not able to ride the old Cyclone, I enjoy just talking about bikes, different roads, and soldiers' adventures (and misadventures!) on 2 wheels, 4 wheels, and on life in general. Hopefully within the next couple of days I will be able to get a few pics to share with you all. Shoot, gotta roll, have to get up a few hours. Take care one and all, and God Bless, Brian Cessna PS Not all POGs are bad, some have served thier time on the line! (Message edited by stingaroo on March 28, 2009) |

Denisea, The problem I have is that my unit is moving to another location and they are shutting down the mail room. Very soon after we move, I will be coming back to the States. There would be no guarantee I would get anything that would be sent to me before I get back to the States. I really appreciate it, but I would rather anything be sent to the guys/girls who will still be here for a while longer. It really does mean a lot to the military men and women when they receive stuff from groups and friends and I am amazed that the American people continue to give so much. I just hope I get the chance to meet some of you personally when I get back. Thanks to you all. |

Brian, Glad you've gotten all of the packages from the Badwebbers. Kristi and I had an extended phone conference in which sheets to get you- hope you liked them! I'll have another one out this week; gotta keep Christmas coming year around, right? Keep up the Buell promotions and the factory's going to be real busy when you guys get back! We definitely need to plan a ride with all of you this fall when you return. Might be home next weekend, and if so will stop in and see your old Man and Carol, and I'll visit the shop for ya. Take care, Brother, and stay safe!!! Prior |

Can some one repost (perhaps Brian can tell us what he needs/wants the most) "The List". I'm headed out today to do some shopping and will get another package on the way . . . . . Erik talked about baking cookies but I'm not so sure, even after survival training you're quite ready for that. He cooked fish in 1992 and I'm still recovering. Also the posters in the last package were the "fold and move" models so that you can carry them with you. I'm sending tube rolled ones to your Dad that will be waiting for you when you get home. We're thinking of you guys everyday and pulling for you. Court |

That picture is very cool. It brought back some nice memories. I always liked giving stuff to the local kids. There was a corner near Cedar II/ Tallil where about half of the kids were wearing Hooters Atlanta t-shirts. I thought that was hilarious. |

Kristi, love the sheets! They are awesome, and I can finally get away from the plain Blue I had picked up at a bazaar. Bill, yeah soccer balls are what they want the most. Only problem is kids really start fighting if you dont have enough. We ususally wait till we pull out before we toss anything, otherwise you get so swamped not even an airhorn will keep them away! Court as far as list goes, just anything to eat really. The CAV took over our chow hall, changed the hourse, and today ran out of meat for sandwiches. All i could get was a cheese and mustard sandwich. Thank God for EOD, they pulled out a grill and cooked up some food to settle us over till dinner. Homemade bakery items, nuts, protein bars, brownies, anything and everything. We love any kind of magazines, they get passed from platoon to platoon after they circulate the barracks. Prior, it was good talking to you last nite for a spell. Please do chat with the old man, Dad is kinda in the dumps since I am not around to help out. Pet Sam for me, he has not been right since I took off. Jerry, thank you. How does that old saying go? "We the willing, lead by the all knowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done soo much with so little for so long, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing." That pretty much narrows it down how some guys feel until we started getting mail from different groups, people and schools. Bart, of course Brownies are a must! You know thats my favorite treat, walnuts, double fudge! Put that after a steak and a couple beers, then your really talking! Yeah man, that was one of the better pictures I have and thought I woudl share. I got a ton more, some not really presentable on here, and others that have long stories behind them. Kate and I are going to ride the Cyclone as is, after some new tires, then I am going to put it in the shop this winter for a few minor upgrades I always talked to you about. Mike, np, it just sucked I managed to steal a Humvee from Liberty, drove over to Victory and could not link up. I will try to give you 24 hour notice before we roll in again. Everyone, I am going to have limited internet after this message for awhile. We are moving into our new building, so if I do not reply to something, please understand. Take care everyone, stay free! Brian: What about DVD's? My wife just reminded me that we have all the DVD's and VCR (which I assume is now worthless) that her late Father collected. . . almost all John Wayne westerns and so forth. If you can use them, let me know and they'll be on the way with the next package. Court |

Court, DVD's are always a plus! We do not have a VCR, so VHS would not do us too much good. Thanks! Brian |
