Can anyone with a Corbin backrest give me the dimensions of the support stem. Mainly looking for width, thickness and approx. length. |

Does it matter which backrest? I am not sure if they are all the same. I have them on my Marauder. Drop me a pm, and I will see if I can get through the snow and ice and to the back of the garage to measure it. some playing with the google seems to indicate that the corbins use a 5/8" square stem on their backrests. hope that helps. -Patrick |

Patrick, what terms are you using in your google search? I have been unable to find anything. Thanks!! Loren |

I'm off to work now. If you don't have any numbers by 9:30 tonight, I'll measure up the one in my garage for you. |

gowinward: corbin backrest stem dimensions found stuff in ads for 3rd party backrests that say they will fit corbin seats. |

The one for my Roadking mic's out at .592 (+ or - a bit) and is the same both ways. 5/8 (.625) MIGHT fit and that may be the dimension of the raw stock that Corbin uses, before polishing and chrome, etc. The entire shaft is about 6.25" long and protrudes 4.75" (give or take a bit, depending on angle and where you measure from) from the bottom of the oval pad. The attachment screw hole (1/4 X 20) is 3/8" from the end of the shaft. I can take some photos if you need them. AL |
