I'm looking for a bike related machining project to get my spring fever going. anything that will get me intimate with my bike during this frozen winter would be great. I'm out of ideas and in a winter blues funk. www.sergisonmachine.net xb9s x1 |

I need a set of axle sliders, don't know if that helps you a lot, but two birds with one stone...... |

How bout a custom upper triple sporting clip ons? Or rear sets Or a custom seat pan for a new seat Or custom blinkers Or a custom dash Or a custom headlight assembly Or crazy custom gas tank cover (X1s have gas tank covers don't they?) Or levers That's all I can think of right now |

Rearsets or maybe just the heel guards. I've wanted to carve the Pegasus logo in my heel guards for some time. If you could think of something that looks good that may be a good seller, plus there are four per bike, not sure if they are the same size though. Front sprocket cover. Alot of people buy axle sliders so a new design could sway some revenue. |

Self cleaning rotating knife assembly for front axle & also bar ends, also HUD guided, grenade launcher (concealed mounting of course) I'm just thinking ahead like, in case the balloon goes up. |

thanks, good ideas. I may draw up some of those and run them by you in a couple days. I like the chariot spinners and dip-shit missile especially! |

How about a functional bow mount for my handlebars to combine Dave's old and new business ventures? Maybe we can get people to stop calling us Buelligans and opt for Wild Indians instead? |

I have been trying for the longest time to find a finned Primary Inspection Cover for my tuber engine (M2). They are made for the Sportster, but not for Buell, and no they are not the same part. The Buell one is 1/2" smaller diameter. Make the fins stick out in a rounded arc, tapering in to meet at the edge. Maybe 3/8 to 1/2 deep at the apex. Deep enough to be look "real" even though it is of course only decorative. The fins should be proportionally spaced to match the engine fins, just slightly closer together. I would bet you could sell at least 50 of them, for maybe $25 each. ($35 for wrinkle black?) On eBay, here, your website, offer them wholesale to American Sport Bike. They would sell, I would buy one for sure. There's about 25,000 tuber engined Buells out there. Here's the website for Sportster covers, for $55 each: http://www.customcycleengineering.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=151_154&products_id=486 (Message edited by jayvee on March 02, 2007) (Message edited by jayvee on March 02, 2007) |

I think some finned exhaust flanges would be cool (hey... a pun).
