July 14-15 will be the days for our event. It will be at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. The first day, Saturday, will be a Buell only track day. Everyone is invited to attend for FREE! There are no excuses not to come. If you have never ran at a track before, you will be REQUIRED to participate in the new rider course ($20 each). The course will get you up to speed, and the instructors are awesome. We will have as many novice, street, and race groups as need be, we are renting the place just for Buells this time. At lunch and that night, Ill Conduct will performing some stunt shows for us. They will also be performing at lunch the next day. The second day, Sunday, will an open invite race day ($150 to enter, but open to any brand bike). I want as many Buell racers there as possible. I will announce classes later. We will have some prizes for the winners in their respective classes. Hopefully sponsors could donate some prizes. I'm trying to find some. I've got a list of every dealer that got an XBRR, and will try to find their owners to hopefully put on an XBRR only race at one point. Hopefully we can get several. How many XBRR's (56 bike run total) do you ever get to see in one place. There is even a onroad/offroad course if any Uly owners want to get down. The Buell demo truck will be there both days and we will be letting you all try out the new 07's on the track with five lap demo rides. There is one surprise to that. Cycle Connection is building a 90" XB that we will let you demo. This is for demonstration a 90" engine kit we will be selling at our shop, tuned with direct-link. We'd like to introduce everyone to the next level of street performance for Buells. Those are the details for now. |

I just hope it is an overcast weekend...or unseasonably low temps. Oklahoma in July can be pretty darn warm! |

Drake, Oklahoma is dry hot. 105 in Tulsa is like 95 here in Joplin. Our humidity is almost always 80%+. To combat heat, however, Hallett does have a restaurant on site. There are paddocks and garages also if any groups would like to reserve them, I can set up a something for that. On site camping is free too. I want to get as many Buellers as we can. This is a FREE track day with lots more to offer. If any of you have an idea how much it costs to rent the track w/ full staff, safety, food, and everything else for two prime summer weekend days you will realize I had to do some convincing to get this going. I need a good turnout. |

-Buellgirlie MAAAAYYYYBBEEEE. I'll have to check with our riders. The next weekend is the CMRA endurance race there. It is a great opportunity for practice for us! We can probably get you on for one session though. How about this; why don't you ride our 90" XB12SS instead? |

Josh, Any idea how much the 90" kit will cost? Also, what kind of numbers are expected at the rear wheel. You got me day dreaming! |

We ordered (some are being developed) all of the parts today. We are planning to have an awesome package. Pricing will be in line with current 90" packages ($4200 from Revolution Performance for stage 3) but should give you a lot more power for your money! With all of the other performance engines we have built, we usually get substantially more out of them than others building the same size. Ours all run on pump gas and are streetable. I hope we can do the same with the XB12SS. (Message edited by josh_cox on February 27, 2007) |
