Man oh man the British bankruptcy court has sold TVR back to the Russian dude who made them broke in the first place! What is that all about? http://news.windingroad.com/ |

It sucks that the Russian put the company into receivership, which rids him of the company debts, and he's allowed to buy the company back for less money providing he's the high bidder. I like many others just don't get it. I know if I were running a limited company and I placed my company into receivership I'd be declared bankrupt. British law states I couldn't run / own a company for 5 years if I were once bankrupt. Maybe I'm missing something. Still, it sucks that other parties were keen to buy TVR as a going concern and keep it where it is and employ the original workforce, yet the Russian seemingly is allowed to add insult to injury.
