Newfie, You MOVED!!! (Nice view) That looks like the storm that moved through here last week, we didn't get quite that much - but ~ 200 km east they got over 3.5 metres. I had a friend plow my driveway, couldn't shovel it... about 3°C. today, starting to melt. Email me sometime... Oz "Nobody gets in to see the Wizard. Not nobody, not no how." |

We got that here (Ohio) a week or so ago as well. Not quite as much but enough to slow things down a bit. The one day it was snowing I told myself to go out and knock the snow off of my portable carport. Well I got side tracked and forgot and this is what I saw while making my coffee the next morning. Talk about being trapped.
Less than two inches from my two year old window. Too close for comfort. This is from the outside.
It took me a few hours to get my truck unburied. The last two days it has been in the 40's (F) and more than half has melted. Thank goodness I hate winter! |

Bill- They had some news coverage today from St.John's, it looked just like your old street. I think we'll wait awhile before we head up there. We had a storm in '73 that took them 3 days to plow us out. It was kind of fun then. |

Everything cleared again, The above I could only wish for. 16 inches of snow last Monday with another 12 inches forecast for Sat. Why is it that when it hits the ground its multiplied by three? OH I can't wait till March. Mike, my old street is not quite as bad as where we are now. |
