So I've got a 2000 Cyclone with the original leaky shock without a reservoir but it does have a SRP kit on it. I ordered a new OE replacement (it's all I can justify at the time) and I have a couple of concerns. One concern is the placement of the new reservoir. Will there be a provision nearby for it? The other concern is per the directions on the recall notice, it makes reference to needing a different front mount since the replacement shock is 1.75" shorter than the OE unit. If this is true, where do I source one? I've neither heard of nor seen such a thing. Thanks in advance, Brent |

Brent, If you dealer ordered the KIT, not just the shock, it will contain ALL the necessary parts (including the new shock mount). The reservoir mounts to the front shock mount and the oil feed line. ShockRecall99-00.pdf Oz "Nobody gets in to see the Wizard. Not nobody, not no how." |

At the very least, you'll need the reservoir clamp (it's not a simple hose clamp) and the fasteners that attach it. There is a hole the front mount for the threaded rod part of the clamp to fit into. I didn't use the rubber between the reservoir and oil line and did away with the regular hose clamp that tied the two together. I never had a problem running the reservoir with just the special clamp. |

I just received it this morning and all that's included is the shock/reservoir, the new new (curved) bracket. Can I just reference the part numbers of the other items in the recall PDF (the clamps and such) and order them from some Buell dealer far away? Thanks for the help, Brent |
