Dude... That's awesome. How do you come up with these. I mean, how do you get an email like this? Larry Smith. Shoot, he may have been better off saying his name was LARRY BIRD! It's too bad you couldn't just get a cricket phone, and give him that number, and see what happens. Ship the package to some abandoned home, and see what happens. God, I would tape it all. Video tape it all, then sell the idea to Sundance. You'd be the next Oliver Stone. By the way.... If you do this... I get 20%. Ha Ha Ha!! (I'm serious) Mark |

This one has few mistakes unlike the other "nigerian scams" out there. If someone did not know any better this would I am sure fool most of the uniformed to these types of scams. |

Now really? Do you think a really enterprising Sgt would be sending unsolicited email to move green? All you really need to do is put it in the HAZMAT 50 gal drums and ship it back home as radioactive contaminant. Throw in some depleted urianium shells to make the geiger counter buzz and its all good. (Should work, I saw it in a comic book) |

How did a Sgt manage to obtain $25 million "illegally" without the rest of the friggin' Army finding out? Why not contact an Army buddy who's already back in the states? At least you KNOW them! If it sounds too good to be true, it is. |

There's a simple way to tell if it's a hoax... if they offer you money, it's not real, end of story. ESPECIALLY if it has anything to do with overseas shipment. Funny stuff! ~SM |

If you have more than two brain cells to rub together you could see that email is a scam. It's got more holes in it than my high school jeans. |

Just like the Nigerian scams, they get your hopes up, then some problem ensues and they need you to cash a cashier's check and forward money to some address and all the money's yours! (or just send money) Only, there is no money of course. And the cashier's check is phoney. This is particularly onerous since it preys on military sympathies. The Nigerians doing this believe we are stupid, we are greedy, we are rich, and do not deserve to be so. So they think they are more moral by relieving us whenever possible of our wealth, by using our greed. (Message edited by Red_Chili on February 13, 2007) |

The sad fact is theses scams work. One person can send out 100-500 emails a day. If just one SUCKER gets the email then the scammer can net a good pure profit. Instead of spending 300,000,000,000.00 in Iraq we should spend some of that chasing down real criminals who prey on the un-educated or elderly AMERICANS. |
