It's been about 2.5 months since I've been on the Buell... sigh... and up here in the arctic tundra were looking at about 2 more months until the salt and subzero temps subside so we can even think about another ride... Oh well, I'll get down off my soapbox and get back to |

This is why I kept my old Katana. Who cares about salt and crud? As soon as it reaches 45ยบ, I'm on it. I saw a dude on a bicycle 2 nights ago, the wind chill was -35, I rolled down the window a crack and asked him if he needed a ride somewhere...he fipped me off. |

I got my last ride in December 30, but it feels like forever! When the Badweb went down last month...?....I almost freaked out, I was thinking, Now what am I going to do! I am trying to sell my snowmobiles and move to Alabama. |

Swamp..sleds are the worst investment you can imagine. The riding season over here is so small, it's not worth the 10K for a new ride. Even in northern wis, the trails are terrible and people were going through ice as of two weeks ago. |

Your preaching to the choir. It makes way more sense to rent when you are going to go(snowmobiling). |

I'm in NH and it's &%^#! cold! But not as cold as the guy I saw on his HD Dresser yesterday! I believe the wind chill was -5F! Ouch! I ready for warm weather and riding!! I've been going thru the routine of repacking my '99 S3 race muffler. At least I can work on and feel somwhat connected to my bike... Come on Spring or at least 32 degrees would be nice! |

Although the Winter here in England has been fairly unspectacular, riding in the cold weather just isn't the same as it is in Summer. You can't take the same liberties with the tyres, brakes and suspension. I find it helps if you can find something else to do that's totally unrelated to motorcycling. For my part, I do a lot of walking/hiking this time of year. Equipment outlay is minimal - boots, rucksack, suitable clothing - and it requires no special skills It feels good to climb to the higher ground and take in the Winter landscape. |

Winter: who else is going insane? I am. I haven't been out on my bike since New Year's Eve. I find myself getting sucked into internet arguments with obnoxious buttheads opinionated fellows. It's time to get away from the keyboard and do something positive. Think I'll dust off some old videos of motorcycle races, or maybe watch Easy Rider again. |

Winter: who else is going insane? I'm with ya. It was barely 70 here yesterday. I hate it when it is that in-between temp. I can't decide whether to wear textile or leather. Sucks I tell ya! |

My bike has been in dry dock since Thanksgiving.... Currently it's 10am local time, -6 degrees F, with a windchill of -23. Its too damn cold to do anything, let alone ride. I hole up like a hibernating bear after work a pray my furnace doesn't crap out. |

At least we're (well me anyway) not in upstate NY where there're getting 10 FEET of snow. Did watch a few hours of the "Long Way Home" movie (I think that's the name of the movie). Pretty inspiring but crazy. Spring will be here SOON!!!!!! |

Rode all through winter, all except for the two weeks of snow, ice and the sand that they sprayed to cover the two. The weather finally breaks, and I get a FLAT tire. That is the second nail in three months. If I find the !@#$%^& that is laying them, lets just say it wont be a politically correct encounter. |

I'm on suicide watch again! But on the way home from work I drank 32oz of Mountain Dew Code Red, and I'm all better! I cut 1/2 hour off my time on the way home. I can't wait till Monday when the boss gets to field the complaints from my driving! |

I'm gonna be going insane here soon. We have decent riding weather here in Florida and I'm gonna have to be off the bike a few weeks waiting for modded parts to come back to me. It's tougher when you COULD be riding |

Sometimes I feel guilty. It's 17 degrees this morning so I leave the Blast at home and take the Yoda. Then, a few hours later as I'm out making rounds, I see a freak on a BMW or one of those little skittering scooter thingys go buzzing by. |
