About the time I thought I'd seen about all that could be done with a custom wheel Here comes thishttp://capricorncyclo-works.com/involution.html |

Odd. What happens when you hit 88 miles/hour? Do you go back in time? |

If something got in the gears at speed then that would be one hell of a stoppie. |

If something got in the gears at speed then that would be one hell of a stoppie. I think that's called Crashing. |

All show, no go. They look cool, just not on a bike. Brakes? seem like all you'd have to do is let off the gas, with all that going on it would take lots of energy to keep it moving. |

What Glitch said...I think the place for that is on a Show bike that doesn't actually go or in a clock/watch. |

I just can't help thinking of the noise, and keepin' em' clean. Very nice colors picked for them in my opinion. There is a loss of HP of course, BUT, what speeds COULD it handle? I know...you wouldn't take it out for that reason unless you were trying to break it. I read somewhere, someone asked if it would slow down during daylight-savings. I guess it would seem like that guessing how fast it would go. Hey it's VERY VERY AWESOME!!! |

"Systems can be designed for both front & rear wheels w/ either disc or perimeter braking" The Interference and Iris wheels I like. They must cost a fortune. Maybe I had way too much Kool-aide as a kid, but I like them - they're fun to look at. What a shame I can't look at them while riding, weeeeeee!}! CRASH!!! Cleaning those wheels would definitely suck. But they sure are fun!!! Weeeeheheeeheee! |

If the OCC boys ever build a "Rolex Theme Bike" I know where they can get the wheels now... |

Odd. What happens when you hit 88 miles/hour? Do you go back in time? Hey maybe you won't need gas anymore. Just wind the wheels & go. Who ever designed and built those wheels is one very talented guy. |

seen the clear wheels, the hubless wheel by billy lane and every stinking billet design possible. Just thought these were cool for the extreme engineering involved and the originality. Don't know how practical, but cool |

ROADS, Marty where we're going we don't need any ROADS! A little over the top on a Buell, but hey if you've got the money. Speaking of that, I could only imagine the price of those gems! |

I actually saw those geared wheels at a show in Baltimore last year. They are really cool to watch them work but totally impractical for anything but parades at Bike week or something. Surprisingly, they don't make any noise when turning. I think they would make a nice addition to the wall in my den. |

Who ever designed and built those wheels is one very talented guy. No doubt, I can only imagine being so talented. I wonder just how many, many hours he has in the design alone. |

Those clockwork wheels really raise the bar - it'd be quite a job to build a bike that lives up to em |

If those clock type wheels are really meant for road use(and I doubt it)I'd hate to see the results of one of the many components giving out at highway speeds. The phrase "Rest In Peace" comes to mind! |
