Good luck on your new venture, Dave. You've been e tremendous asset to the Buell community and will be missed by all. I'm damn proud to have "acquired from Daves" parts on my bike...does that make it collectible now? |

I hate to break this to you but having a Buell with "parts from Daves" doesn't make your bike very rare |

I was going to buy a bike, but now Daves is gone. I could of had two, but I will settle for one I hope I see Daves on a Slimey Crud run Of course he'll probably be working with no time for fun Then a few years from now with a succesfull business he'll be rich and we will all say "I knew that Son of a B...." He used to get me my parts at a badweb discount you know so if I become a hunter I know where I'll get a bow Well I wish some good luck to both you and Kandie and if you have an extra stator could you send it to me please! If bowhunters can get used to Ted Nugent's ponytail, they can get used to mine! Dave, i'm a sucker for a catchy acronym or nickname. with the Nuge in mind, for you i'm thinkin' "The Moto City Madman" or "The Ten Fingers of Buell." at least for the OLD Daves. i think a new nickname is in order. keeping with the theme of legendary musicians, i think "Bo(w) Deadly" is entirely appropriate. a lot of folks have had the privilege of buying Buells or Buell stuff from you over the years, me included. a few have been lucky enough to meet you and hang with you, me included. fewer yet have lived, however briefly, in your home. thank you for that. happy hunting! Hey Bow Deadly , a great nickname, or a great name for your new business? I know absolutely nothing about bow hunting, so excuse my ignorance... What is Double Lung in reference to? Joanne |

An arrow that goes through both lungs of the target animal Lady American Sport Bike... Considered the perfect shot. Sort of like Dave's customer service, rare and exceptional. So Dave... What are the odds I'm the last Bad Webber to have bought a new bike through you? Now that'd be an honor... |

Thanks for the quick explanation. I'm sure bow hunters will recognize the meaning immediately, and that's the target audience, eh? Joanne |

Dave, Great to talk to you today. Thanks for taking the time to BS for a bit. Your over the top customer service will be missed by us Buellers, the bow hunters and archers in the Waterloo area are gonna have a ball. Most don't have the balls to follow their dream especially when it involves putting everything on the line. You sir, once again have my deepest respect. I'm sure you will do well. Brad |

Dave, Congrats to you. Dana called me at work to share the news. I had to sit down. All the best to you and Kandie in your new venture. You will sadly be missed. I enjoyed doing every minute of business with you. Appleton has some big shoes to fill. BTW, I always thought you could pass for Ted Nugent's brother (pony tail and all) LOL. He likes to bow hunt too ( I am sure you were aware of that though). Best wishes to you!! Another thing, just by you showing your great enthusiasm and putting your heart and soul into selling Buells the way that you did. And knowing that you will be doing the same with your business venture. I have no doubt that you will highly succeed being a great business owner!! Cheers to you!! |

FB, I think I'll just stick with "Dave" as my name. Borrowedbike, Thanks for explaining the name to Joanne and other non hunters that probably were wondering the same thing. Brad, always good to BS with you NN, Thank you. Ted's a lot taller than me! Philip I can't wait to be my own boss Dick, give me a call, I can still hook you up and get you a discount. That won't be changing until my last day the 10th thanks |
