anyone ever done it , and i'm not talking bout when you were 14 with your first dirt bike :-P my newest steed is a triumph adventurer in jet black w lucifer orange eyebrows and would love to paint a helmet to match . thought about it before but kinda figured the repaint might compromize the helmets integrity , then i recently bought a new 'round town scorpion helmet and it even gave directions for repaint as in taping off sliding vents and so forth . i have an hjc full-face that is just dying to be repainted (sold the honda it matched).  | ||

There's no problem at all to paint helmets. You just have to use the right method and the right product. I paint many helmets every year and never had any problem. | ||

k i have been working at it for awhile now but if you look under need help posting pics you will see a pic of my helmet formally a plain black hjc cl-14 done by a friend for me we even molded the front vents closed and all is fine no problems and i love it | ||
