When doing my grocery shopping at the local Wal-Mart, always the kid at heart, I take a stroll down the toy vehicle aisle to see what kinda kool crap kids get to play with these days. With Al @ American Sport Bike helping in making a couple of modified X1's for the upcoming movie Ghost Rider I took a little extra notice that the local Wal-Mart had rearranged their toy aisles. This is usually a good sign that new 'stuff' will be put out on the shelves. I was inquisitive when I saw some of that new 'stuff' just being put on the shelves were toys from the upcoming Ghost Rider movie. And, YES, they made a toy of the X1! Package front:

To give an idea of the size of the toy the pictures below show the X1 toy between a 1/10th and a 1/18th scale V-Rod. The X1 is a little less than 6 inches long. Size comparo front:

Sure it's got a couple of inaccuracies and some detail is lacking, but for under $10.00 where are you going to find another Buell toy? And besides, now I can tell everyone in C3 that I finally bought a new/nother Buell... 1313 |

Awesome to see that they still make the zip toys. I got my boy a "snot rod" from cars just cause...loved it until the dog ate the damn pull cord. I might have to get one of those too, if nothing other than telling the wifey that I bought another buell... |

I'm getting one. It reminds me of the old SST cars we had when we were kids, the fly wheel-rip cord thing. Way cool! Kdan, leave the cats alone, they know when you're asleep! |

This is really cool! It probably doesn't have Buell on it because H-D lawyers would sue if it did!! Hmm, also, seeing it next to the two V-Rods, I guess it's also probably about 1/10 scale? |

Just saw the commercial for this movie. Seems kinda like a David Mann painting comes to life. Not sure if it's a comedy or what. But thats cool that there is a Buell in it! A 'tuber even!! I'll have to see it just for that. Did anyone notice the "Collect them all!" on the back and it points to the one other bike? All?.... Do they mean "Collect Both"? |

I checked out "Wally World" on the way home from work. The only Ghost Rider item they had was the "Flame Chopper" with action sounds... I'll keep checking. Brad |

Spidy, Thanks for the link. Not being a comic reader, I had never heard of the Ghost Rider. Anything deeper than...well, Spiderman or maybe Silver Surfer then it's beyond my Marvel knowledge. I will definitely see the movie now. When I hear Ghost Rider I always think of The Far Side cartoon...... "Henry, come look! Ghost Riders in the Kitchen!" Dave |
