Rocketman, Thank you sir! That was taken the day I got it last summer. That seat was too low, too thin, and too close to the pegs for me, it now has a higher/more generously proportioned Mustang solo saddle on it. I bought that from a gal that was about 5' 6" tall. She bought it new, put about 49,000 easy miles on it, and was married to a dutiful/competant Harley mechanic. I hope to add at least that many more and have the same kind of luck with it she did. I nominate these for funny (they all start with the same opening scene, follow through for the punch lines): http://www.youtube.com/v/gKMId0IHY6U http://www.youtube.com/v/PS4hLStTIsw http://www.youtube.com/v/wlwPXIHxfYA http://www.youtube.com/v/NvI6-MuDw5s http://www.youtube.com/v/vpBLDF4ftM8 http://www.youtube.com/v/8UadMt9cMmc I nominate this one for silly: http://www.livingbyit.com/ But if we can't laugh at ourselves... 2005 xl883r I always loved the 1957 sportster, so here is my harley. I still need to do the front fork boots, the chrome rear shocks and a speedo/tach cluster. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on January 16, 2007) |

Pammy, Those pictures were taken for a calendar a couple years ago. It was at one of the John Deere plants in town, they were closed at the time. |

Well Dave, you two are a good lookin' couple. And I was joking about the sidewalks. Although I have had to take to the sidewalk a time or to....I live in the state that most 90 years olds move to... to be closer to their parents. |

And they all have still have driver's licenses right? I noticed when I visited Florida a couple of years ago that a lot of folks were driving those fully equipped, "Limited Edition, Florida Only" cars that all came with self-riding brakes and non-self cancelling turn signals. Jack |

ok, so i have never owned a harley, but i have helped build alot of them, and some others as well. the hydro, hydraulic drive and air ride. 32 patents on it and a 6 page spread in american iron.
the turbine. jfs 100 jet engine.
i'm really proud of my frame for it considering we didnt even have the engine yet and only had some dimensions when i started building it.
the vrod full custom.
2000 dyna, chopped and raked with a 200 and then some.
flamed road king with a 200. built to match the 240 sportster we did and was in american iron. built this for the guy that bought the sporty also.
very slammed night train with crack pipes.

oh, and this thing was a riot, it would carry the front wheel a foot of the ground all the way through 3rd.
then there is the ez go with the gs 1000 motor and 14 inches of air suspension(yes i know it's not even a bike anymore, lol)

yes Dave, Lindsey Photography, he was part of the hydro bike project. Carpenters have the auto body shop in iowa falls, and the bikes get built at their other shop. i pretty much grew up running around with the sons that i help do the bikes with. |

we did another bike for him awhile ago, he is in the sons of god or something like that group. so we put cross led's on the bags, and widened the fender for a 200 along with molding this 3D cross that comes out from the fender and is the brake light. somewhere there is a pic of me on the bike from behind when we were just finishing it up. it has all those crosses lit up on it and im wearing a white zombie shirt with a big 666 on the back. i just had to, it was so funny. |

Just your basic 100th anniversary two-tone V-Rod with the basic go faster tricks (Screamin' Beagle mufflers, K&N air filter and running lidless) in 'stealth touring bike' mode. Old pic (still running Dunlops and Wisconsin plate back then) without saddlebags:
With bags:
But it wasn't truly mine until I added my mascot:
Zombie 666 shirt near a bike with light up crosses - PRICELESS!!! I'm surprised that I haven't been kicked out of the bible belt yet... 1313 |
